This piece evokes hwot it’s like tae travel through a “change-field” within the water-world of Cerulea, a planet from the works of Marco Piana, 'The Big Empty Blue’ for which Ah’m the head linguist. Ah stretched the sound of an old piece o’ piano improv. Ah did in 2016 or something and reverbed und chopped it tae heck, throwen it through the change fields tae see hwot happens, and added beats made by flipping through a phrasebook and drownen it in reverb echoes.
“Change is an odd force to be reckoned with. When properly channelled, it is a marvellous resource for cities and communities. When left unleashed and unrestrained, it is an unforgiving power able to modify the world around it, making it unrecognisable.”
“Change-fields are areas irradiated with Change on a (semi-)permanent basis. The extremity of the Change-field increases as you approach its centre, like a raging tempest. Nobody has ventured to the centre of a Change-field and returned.”

“The poet is a kinsman in the clouds / Who scoffs at archers, loves a stormy day; / But on the ground, among the hooting crowds, / He cannot walk, his wings are in the way.”
Charles Baudelaire, poet, critic, and translator (9th April 1821-1867)
