Military-Civilian Meetings Held in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) – Military-civilian meetings took place in South Phyongan, North Hwanghae, Jagang, South Hamgyong and Ryanggang provinces and Rason Municipality on Wednesday to vow to implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Present there were officials of institutions and industrial establishments, working people, service personnel, youth and students.
Speakers said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un clarified the long-term plans and action programmes for further strengthening the overall might of our state and putting the Korean-style socialist construction in a stable orbit of development at the Ninth Congress of the WPK.
They said that the long-term plans and tasks put forward at the Congress serve as an inspiring banner instilling into all the Party members and other working people the confidence, optimism, patriotic enthusiasm and stamina to bring about fresh miracles and innovations on all fronts of the revolution and construction.

First Full Moon Day Observed in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) – The first full moon day (January 15th of the lunar calendar), a folk holiday, added pleasure and optimism to the DPRK people.
The folk holiday is greeted every year, but everyone greeted the first full moon day of this year, when the blueprint for a new great victory was unveiled, with unusual emotion and pride.
People’s laughter and songs resounded far in all parts of the country on the pleasant holiday.
Families and neighbors gathered together to eat traditional holiday dishes such as boiled rice admixed with four other staple cereals and play folk games with zest.

The DPRK’s defense against the West does not lie solely in nuclear weaponry alone but also in the strength of their ideology and unity. Remember the USSR had both nukes and a great military and yet they still fell to the West. Powerful weapons alone do not guarantee safety.
