A Karácsonyi dal videoklipje elérhető a YouTube-on, ahol a nézők megoszthatják véleményüket, és a dalhoz kapcsolódó élményeiket.
https://youtu.be/PZUG7JEbQNU?si=cRLJT7QBuCfos9CO

Bevillan a képed, a pilláid

Kezed a kezemben a tisztásig

Köztünk szerelem szikrázott

tell me jocelyn pook’s hallelujah/desh album isn’t armand-coded. go ON. i know this is what he hears if he dares to think abt the past.

but also, whilst we’re on the subject. i 100% believe armand has never been back to the motherland. like, he has definitely circled around the place, probably had a lovely long lunch over in the maldives; found a nice afghan vampire somewhere up the kush to annoy for a week one time. but, like hell has he ever put foot back on home soil. absolutely will not. nothing to see there. wild horses (or journalists) could not drag him there. everything’s fine, super that it still exists, but no, not today, thank you very much.

my toxic nano trait this year is rewarding myself for hitting word count/card goals by rotissere-ing (TOTALLY UNRELATED, SEPARATE CHARACTERS AND UNIVERSE, VERY IRRELEVANT AND UN-CANON ANYWHERE) whump scenarios about it

my other toxic nano trait is pretending i ONLY do this as a reward and not every waking hour of the day

28 - Blunt

Desh knew he’d arrived at the best time.

“I’LL SUE!”

Solomon’s shouts were muffled under the crowd of medics fussing over him.  Obscenities and colorful threats followed in a variety of gestures and languages.  His actions spoke of the fiercest torture, traumatizing enough to last generations…

“Who let YOU in?!”

Oh no, he was spotted.  Desh tried to curtail his pleasure to neutrality, but he never had a good poker face.  The amusement was written all over him.

“Hmm, perhaps you were not who I was looking for.  I did bring a rather good looking man in here.”  Desh taps on his cheek, prolonging his teasing.  “Do you know where he is, child?”

“…ask the medics!”

A step to close the gap between them and the card summoner was leaning in close to Solomon’s personal space, observing the medics’ work on Desh’s deed.  The bandage was long and already stained pink. Maybe Solomon had a point in freaking out as much as he was.  It was bad.  Really, really bad.

The wound on his cheek was long enough that they had to shave his face.  And to make sure things were equal… all of it was now baby smooth.

“They DEFACED me!”

“They had to make sure I did not injure any other area.  There was quite a bit of blood after all.  Something for you to consider next time we duel…”

No one would believe Solomon won.

#5 - Barbarous

TW: violent

Desh smoothly slid a random card between two fingers, glancing with vague interest at the growing crowd around him.  Of course being challenged to a duel would spark interest amongst their ranks.  It was him after all.  Waiting for his challenger to arrive, a rogue thought crossed his mind, one perhaps molded by less than savory influences.

What did one call a group of Allagan Summoners?

“I didn’t expect such a party for little old me!”  came the haughty voice of his challenger, sauntering about like he owned the training hall.  “Or are they here for the ‘old’ you?”

The remark at least got Desh to roll his eyes, tips of frown easily perceivable.

“They are here to watch the folly of the inexperienced.”

When the challenge had come the day before, Desh couldn’t say he was surprised.  The ‘younger’ Allagan, Allus, had been rising through their squadron since his ties with the royal family gave exclusive access to resources and more importantly, Eikons.  What better way to cement a position of strength than to fight the anomaly of their group:  the one who did not rely on bathing themselves in the aether of the Eikons to summon?

He was a sought after challenge for this alone, but his record made the clout a prize as well. There was currently only one summoner who had notched a victory against him, but even that one had a facial scar as a reminder of the battle now.. Thus, Allus wasted no time bringing out his grimoire and activating the first arcanima to bring out his carbuncle.

“Hmph. I have more than enough experience to defeat you.”  Allus scoffed, turning a page and allowing the carbuncle to absorb the aether and burst into a squall of an egi.

Garuda then.  Aerial abilities will be useful.  And knowing how much his brethren hated dragons in general, he has the perfect card.  Most Summoners were limited by their arsenal depth… not him.

Wielding the weapon of their astrologians, Desh reached towards the swirling globe and drew a card into his hand.  Unlike those that relied on the stars to power their planisphere, he could call what he wanted at will.  There was no room for luck on the field of battle and every card was burned into his memory.  Streams of wind aether began to whip about the arena as Allus’s egi shuddered and transformed into a towering sight of wings, bird-like features, and a screech piercing enough to cause many to cover their ears.  At the same time, Desh thrust his card into the air and called upon the memory teeming below the surface.

The triple triad card began to glow until no features were left visible, hovering above his outstretched hand until it had reached the proper aether requirements.  Like a firework, it burst forth into the air and exploded, expanded to form that dwarfed Garuda as its wings pumped to keep it hovering mid-air.  Glowing orange eyes matched Desh’s on the ground, the visible tether of their connection.

“This is Vedrfolnir.  Our Star has noted he has a penchant for battle.  Though he can get quite… aggressive.”

As if to prove it, the full-size dragon dove straight for Garuda, leaving Allus no time to quip or scheme.  The size difference might have worked in the wind Eikon’s favor, maneuverability allowing dodges that kept her out of range of increasingly vicious swipes.  Pulses of aetheric torrents accompanied each burst while Garuda grazed upon every opening and built them up into a wind tunnel to surround each creature.

Allus allowed his hand to hover over the grimoire and looked to boast over at Desh, but the other summoner was obviously more interested in watching the creatures fight then defend himself.  A growing rage at his impudence had the younger Summoner flip a page and gather unaspected ruinous aether to fire towards the man.

“You-You still have to fight me, card player!”  He shouted out, unleashing the blast… and watching as it harmlessly dissipated into a shielding around his opponent.

Distractedly but unimpressed, Desh tilted his head towards Allus.  His constitution and aether density would only last so long against the memory of a sire of Hraesvelgr so he had no interest in prolonging their contest.

“You are not worth my time.  Nor is this if that,”  he points towards the air.  “Is all you offer.”

Vedrfolnir weathered the Eikon’s fury by the ardor of its scaly hide, shimmering cloudy amethysts unblemished.  Tornadoes and whirlwinds of destructive sheer passed harmlessly through its wings.  The dragon had landed several hits, but all of Garuda’s stratagems had no progress to show for it.  Feathers rained down upon the ground below but held no power in their impact.

Eventually, the Eikon relied too heavily on the whipping winds to carry her and Vedrfolnir only needed one clean tail swipe… to sunder the summon twain and send the destabilizing remnants crashing to the ground while the winds dissipated about them.

The crowd, which had been jeering against the howling zephyr, silenced.

Allus’s jaw would have hit the ground if it were possible. The insolence.  The indignity.

“FINE!  You think you’re so clever? You’re going to pay for that!”  He fumed at how effortlessly Garuda was taken out and went to his grimoire again, planning on bringing out another summon.

Desh only sighed and nodded towards Vedrfolnir, who dive bombed Allus before the man could reconstitute his carbuncle.  A stream of crystalline aether spewed from its mouth and showered the area around his opponent while the sheer caused an updraft to take Allus off his feet and dangerously close to a protruding shard.

“Duels only allow one summon each. Yield.”  Desh gritted out, impatiently wanting this to be over as the drain began to cause discomfort; a tremor in his form, sweat dripping down the side of his head, breaths uneasy.

“Hah… who do you think you are up against here? I am the future of this squadron! Royal blood flows through my veins!  I will not be bested by some affront to our sacred art! With playing cards no less!”

Allus’s scorn did not rile up the crowd again the way he expected it to and he looked to them for some support.  Yet, none of them had made a sound since Garuda’s defeat.  The rules were absolute.  So were the consequences for breaking them.  They were interested in what he would do but would offer no credence to his intentions.  They would not be accessories to what was to come.

His carbuncle’s reemergence was nothing more than a harbinger of the end.

“Allus… I will fulfill the obligations.”  Desh ground out, his failing composure couldn’t hide the unspoken plea.  Don’t make me do this.

“Hmph.  Not if you’re unable to!”

The humidity of the area became severe enough to make one believe they were breathing in water as the egi transformed in a rush of fury and aether that would have been impressive to Desh if he were simply an observer.  There was such potential there.  Now wasted.

Desh ordered Vedrfolnir to defend itself.  Maybe there was still time for Allus to see reason.

Leviathan emerged and with it growing tidal waves in all directions.  But its target was not the dragon.  The serpent roared out, blades of water intertwining with the rush of a wave directly towards Desh.  A shattering shield was heard amongst the deluge of water.  When it cleared, Desh was on a knee, gripping his side where he’d been clipped…  but his other hand was curled into a fist.  Shining sunset in his eyes.

There was a cry out from the crowd.  A dear friend of Allus’s.  Family?  Perhaps a partner as well.  They saw what the raged Allagan did not.  What he would not, until it was too late.

Vedrfolnir barreled through Leviathan, causing the summoned creature to shatter almost instantaneously.  The momentum carried him back into another dive bomb. This time his long neck struck out like a snake’s, jaw open wide and locked on.  The deep bellowing of the waves faded off, replaced by a blood-curdling scream.  The dragon took his prey into the air, clamped down into the summoner and shook its head repeatedly.

Until crimson rained down upon the area.  Until the noise ceased.

#1: Envoy

“They’re making us wait.”

“I’d expect no less.” Desh stood his ground, hands behind his back. “They want us to think they have the upper hand.”

Solomon barked. “Hah! They can’t be that naive.”

“Their nation, their rules.” Bright orange eyes scanned the horizon. “I’ll do the talking.”

“Why, afraid I’ll fuck up?”

“I’m not afraid, I’m confident you’ll fuck up.”

Solomon cocked an eyebrow. “Really? I haven’t even spoken to them.”

“I know you. You’ll declare war before the Meracydians open their mouths.” Desh smirked. “Worst. Envoy. Ever.”

“Oh, is that so?” The younger man seemed offended despite his own smirk. “Fine, not a word from me. Make His Grace proud.” He only had time to plant a kiss on Desh’s cheek before the Meracydians arrived.

“"Envoys of Allag, state your business.”

Desh straightened his back. His gaze hardened:

“I’ll be brief: Submit or we attack.”
