the meadows canta echi di altri mondi, dai quali esseri diafani riverberano feroci nostalgie di un mondo dimenticato, insufflando di nostalgia i cuori di creature insonni, in albe stanche e ventose, in fredde mattine dove un pallido sole langue tra cieli lattiginosi.
Malinconie transatlantiche verso nuovi gelidi deserti, in attesa del prossimo agguato, della prossima inondazione.
C'è la sciocca nostalgia della vita che provano i fantasmi, immemori; non c'è altro che desolazione, abbandono, perdita.
Ci sono abissi elettrificati che scrutano nei cuori innocenti delle ragazze di campagna, ed è scandalo. E tragedia.
the meadows è fatto di distorsioni neoclassiche, elettronica da camera, tumulti industriali, ambient preapocalittico, languori lo-fi, vecchi pianoforti granulizzati, antichi incanti ritrovati su nastri rovinati, trip-hop rurale allucinatorio per celebrazioni ferali alla regina di un piovoso maggio.

the meadows is about echoes of other worlds, from which diaphanous creatures reverberate a fierce nostalgia for a lost world, breathing into the hearts of sleepless souls, in tired and windy dawns, in cold mornings where a pale sun languishes among milky skies. Transatlantic melancholies toward new frozen deserts, waiting for the next ambush or the next flood.
The pointless nostalgia for the world felt by the lost ones; there is nothing but desolation, abandonment, loss.
Electrified abysses peer into the innocent hearts of country girls, and it’s scandal and tragedy.
These feelings are experimented in music through neoclassical distortions, chamber electronics, industrial turmoil, pre-apocalyptic ambient, lo-fi languors, decrepit pianos, ancient enchantments rediscovered on ruined cassette tapes, hallucinatory rural trip-hop for a feral celebrations to the queen of a rainy May.
