It’s a shame to find a really good sex worker photographer who has no dark-skinned women in their portfolio.

Wow. Some clients have gigantic, big mouths. But, I love getting the tea.

I met with that client from last week - the one who was well connected and had a childhood friend he founded a big tech company who became a millionaire. He told me more stories about their excursions with sex workers. But, today, the stories were good.

A few years ago, him and the friend, “Greg”, chartered a yacht with a group of escorts. He revealed that one of the girls they brought onto the yacht is now the girlfriend of a billionaire. My client’s friend, Greg, and the billionaire are actually friends but, Greg doesn’t know if the billionaire actually knows his now girlfriend (the girl from the yacht trip) was an escort. I wanted to tell my client, of course the billionaire knows! That’s how he met her!

Honestly, who knows. And, my client didn’t name the girl but he told me the name of the company the billionaire started so, of course I looked her up when I got home…

I found her through Google and looked through her Instagram. She’s actually a bit of a celebrity in her own right. But, that’s probably because of her relationship with the billionaire. Her Instagram shows that knowing him has put her in rooms with some extremely powerful people. I am astonished at how far youth, whiteness, and decent good looks can take you. WTF. This girl started out as an escort, but, with the connections she’s made, she’ll never want for anything again. She’s not even that conventionally attractive. However, she is a little tall and pretty skinny… and, of course, white.

I’m so inspired, I’m about to resort to some extreme weight loss tactics. If she can go from being an escort to shaking hands with the prime minister of France, any of us can. What’s that weight loss drug someone recommended the other day?? Phenterimine? 😂 I will try anything. Shit. It’s on.

Also, I tried to Google her name to see if she was known for being an escort on gossip discussion threads but not nothing came up. Then again, she could have had any discussion about her taken down by lawyers after she stopped escorting.

Lemme get his phenterimine milligrams…

Most Businesses Think They’re Tracking Their Website. They’re Not.

Why weak measurement foundations quietly create bad decisions, wasted spend, and revenue blind spots

Most businesses believe their website tracking is “good enough.”

In reality, it usually isn’t.

After years of working with companies across different industries, I’ve seen the same issue again and again: the biggest measurement problems are rarely advanced attribution challenges or sophisticated modeling failures.

They’re foundational.

Pages load. Forms submit. Traffic flows. Reports populate.

But when you ask simple business questions, the answers get blurry fast.

What are users actually doing on the site?
Where does intent begin?
Where are visitors dropping off?
Which actions meaningfully support revenue?

For many businesses, those answers are incomplete, inconsistent, or missing altogether.

That is not a tooling problem.

It is a prioritization problem.

Too often, website data is treated like a marketing function instead of a business asset. As long as campaigns are running and leads are coming in, measurement feels “good enough.”

Until performance changes.

When conversion rates drop, teams cannot diagnose why. When growth improves, they cannot explain what caused it. When budgets shift, there is no reliable baseline to guide decisions.

That is where weak measurement becomes expensive.

Minimum viable tracking should do three things well

At a minimum, your website tracking should reliably answer:

  • Where are users engaging?
  • Where are they dropping off?
  • Which actions actually matter to the business?

If your setup cannot answer those questions clearly, the rest of your decision-making becomes guesswork.

Paid media becomes harder to optimize.
Landing page performance becomes harder to interpret.
Product and content decisions become less grounded in reality.
Leadership loses confidence in the numbers.

And once trust in data disappears, teams stop using it the way they should.

Analytics does not need to be complex to be valuable

A common misconception is that analytics only matters when it becomes advanced.

That is backward.

Analytics becomes valuable the moment it becomes deliberate.

You do not need a complicated system to create meaningful business clarity. You need a structured one. A system that reflects how your business actually creates value. A measurement framework that captures the signals that matter most.

Because when the foundation is clear, everything downstream improves:

  • Better performance conversations
  • Better investment decisions
  • Better optimization priorities
  • Better confidence in what is working

Clarity at the measurement layer changes how teams operate.

The real risk is not missing data. It is false confidence.

Many businesses are not operating with no data.

They are operating with partial data they trust too much.

That is often more dangerous.

Incomplete tracking creates the illusion of visibility. Dashboards look active. Metrics appear stable. But underneath, critical gaps distort interpretation.

And distorted interpretation leads to weak decisions.

That is why strong digital measurement starts with the basics:
clean event design, meaningful conversion logic, reliable tagging, and alignment between business goals and what the platform records.

Without that, reporting becomes noise.

With it, website data becomes useful.

Final thought

If your current tracking setup cannot clearly explain user behavior, intent, and business-critical actions, then it is not supporting growth the way it should.

Analytics does not need to be sophisticated to create value.

It needs to be intentional.

Which best describes your current website tracking reality?

A) We track basics but don’t trust them
B) We track activity, not intent
C) We lack consistent visibility altogether

If this resonates, follow for more on GA4, measurement strategy, and revenue-focused analytics.

The US military is still using Claude — but defense-tech clients are fleeing

The aftermath of Anthropic’s dispute with the Department of Defense has left the company in an awkward place — both actively in use as part of the ongoing conflict between the U.S. and Iran, and decoupling from many of its clients in the defense industry.
Part of the confusion is the overlapping and contradictory restrictions made by the U.S. government. President Trump has directed civilian…

I woke up to find a request from some guy from out of state, visiting my city.

I did a check on his phone number and not much came up in terms of his job or professional background. I went to Google to see what I could find…

Someone with his name came up. It was a cop who was caught on video, pointing a gun at a woman in a traffic stop. 😑 Someone filmed him yelling at the woman to get out of her car after he pulled her over. The news reported that he was fired after that incident. Someone on Reddit said he was involved in previous incidents which hadn’t been filmed.

The problem was that I couldn’t verify it was the exact same person that texted me. It probably was because the guy who texted me was from a small town. And the police officer in the video seemed to be nearly the same age as the person in my background check. I kept digging through Google and someone found his Facebook page and posted the link in the comments of one of the news reports. Sure enough, the first and middle name matched the guy who texted me (he doesn’t use his last name on his FB page). And there are lots of “blue lives matter” graphics on his Facebook page. There’s also a photo of the police academy he went to which is in the same state of the guy I looked up. It’s him.

Y’all, if you saw this man’s photo, he looks like a nazi. Very skin, slightly overweight. In the video, he is so angry. You can tell he is dying to get his hands on this woman and brutalize her. The woman in the video was white but, had she’d been black, you know the situation would have turned out worse.

Anyway, even in his text message this morning, before I even googled him, I saw the tone was off: “I’m in interested in booking a massage”. No greeting and the message had the slight tone of a demand instead of a question. This is why I analyze every single message I receive and I’m so picky with new clients.

Imagine getting fired from the police department for beating up a woman, your whole ass is out there on the internet, and thinking a prostitute is going to see you after that. Maaaaaan, fuck you.

Going crazy with all these problems

Photo by Kevin Malik on Pexels.com

With money, you have problems, but you also have trouble when you don’t have much. It’s crazy how much things cost, and when you don’t have any income, it’s even worse. You have to save money for important things like rent and bills. I’m going crazy with these problems. Soon the savings are gone, and what to do then?

It shouldn’t be like this for anyone. Some…
