TW: surgical site, stitches
I forgot to share Cessa pics! She’s recovering well, taking to the pirate life with ease. She hates the cone tho. Thankfully she has yet to rip it off in rage but I have a feeling that is gonna happen sooner or later. She has been VERY lovey dovey and has been eating and drinking as normal again!
Cessa update!
She made it through surgery, and the vet is going to work out a payment plan with ne for what I can’t pay. I have over half of the money for the surgery. I’ve been told she was very sleepy but okay! Unfortunately I’m going to be at work when my mother picks her up, but I’m gonna get pics one way or another. I’ve been suggested by friends and coworkers to get her an eye patch lol
Update on Cessa!
She’s been dropped off at the vet. The surgery she is getting will remove the eye then suture it shut. Due to how late in the day the surgery will finish, they will be keeping her overnight. They’ll be doing a blood screen to check her for infection, which I enthusiastically agreed to due to her hiding for 2 days. The upper cost they gave me was a much more manageable $1200, so I’m updating the GoFundMe to show that. She was not happy being in the carrier, but she was far more alert than she was initally last night. She had no interest in food at all during the night but did drink water. They’re going to feed her medicated food overnight as well. They said she’ll be okay, and I will have to pay after the surgery, when I go to pick her up. It gives me a bit more time to get the money up for it. I am on my way to get loans now, I’m hoping I’ll be able to cover this.

I listen to this every day. My daddy loves me enough to write me my own lullaby and record it for me. He makes me feel special and loved and protected. I am so beyond thankful and grateful for everything he has done for me. I can’t wait to be home with you every single day
I don’t think your difficult to love… loving you came easy. But I do think you’re afraid to love me cause you know it could be real. I don’t think it’s on purpose but I feel you subconsciously sabatoge yourself. Instead of letting go and loving me unguarded you look for things that may be wrong. It worries you because maybe it’s because I’ve loved you with out the flaws your use to someone giving you when they care. You expect it not to be real. So you push back.
I love you… I proved it time and time again with out regret. You tell me you need me you belong to me you want be. That I teach you what love should really be like and not what you been shown by others. You say I’ll get tired of you that you don’t want to annoy you or be to clingy. I’m not like them I’m different cause I want that. You want someone to never tire of you and want cuddles. My love I can’t get upset with you if I too want you to need to be on my arms. I want to you to put your head on my chest every night if that’s what you need because I wish to have you there as well. I want my baby to give me gentle tugs when she wants attention or just to be held. It gives me purpose. I want you to see I was made to love you and you where made to show me that loving you is enough to make you stay and give me all of you as well.
Don’t fight me… let yourself be happy knowing you are loved and come home.
