Reading Borne: Ohh okay! There are some things that I don’t really understand, but overall i can follow it :)
Reading Dead Astronauts: What the Fuck what The Fuck what the fuck wh (affectionate)
Dead Astronauts is going to make me cry about stuff that I don’t even understand 😭😍
lowkey obsessed with the bear in Borne. more books should have big fuckoff animals that just hang out and accidentally have a devastating effect on the local ecosystem, population, and culture
Borne is okay. I’m 29% into it. Borne (the character) is a funny little guy, but I was hoping Rachel wouldn’t be so… maternal towards him. You can raise someone without thinking of yourself as their mother! (<- speaking from experience)
I would like to see more of Mord. Idc about the Magician. Show me that fucked up bear again!!
At the end of Borne there’s a catalogue of the wildlife (some natural, some biotech, some a combination of the two that probably shouldn’t exist) of the City. and every organism mentioned in the book has a little bit of info about it at the back of the book and a little drawing of it !!!

THERES LITTLE DESCRIPTIONS OF ALL THE BIOTECH MONSTERS. I FUCKING LOVE THIS SO MUCH. THIS BESTIARY IS A WHOLE 23 PAGES LONG. THIS BOOK IS DESIGNED FOR ME ISTG

B&L is excited to welcome borne, one of the most promising young artists in bass music, for “Off The Record” his much-anticipated LA headline debut. Hailing from Montréal, borne has captured the attention of the 140 side of the dance music scene and some of its biggest figures alike, with sonics that have an immense energy and presence packed into an artful, minimal delivery.
He’s garnered praise and playouts from some of the most respected artists in the game, including Skrillex, Fred Again, Zeds Dead, and Peekaboo, all while releasing consistent heat thru imprints like UKF, Deadbeats, and NIGHTMODE. If you’re tapped into bass music you’ve probably heard one of his signature tunes in your favorite playlist, such as “Out of Control”, his massive collab with Taiki Nulight.
@itsborne brings “Off The Record” to Los Angeles on Saturday, November 22nd at Catch One with special guests. Trust us, it’s one of those shows u just have to be there for.

It took me forever to get my hands on The Strange Bird but oh my God I am so glad I did it made me feel ill and cry (in a positive way).
Happy Birthday Matt Damon! He must a be special guy.
Between Saving Private Ryan ($70M), Interstellar ($16M) and The Martian ($108M),America has spent about $350 million trying to save this guy!(even though the CIA thought otherwise)
Jason Borne? Didn’t he play Matt Damon?

How can I get more people to read Borne, seriously.
Like I cant lead with ‘it’s about survivors in a post apocalyptic world living off abandoned experimental creatures called Biotech, who then find a mysterious little alien creature and slowly teach it how to talk’
because then I have to follow that up with 'there’s also a giant floating telekinetic bear named Mord trying to kill them all the time’.
And then if I haven’t lost anyone completely I also have to convince them that it’s not as weird and miserable and gross as it sounds on the surface (even tho it kinda is) and also you might need to read it multiple times to understand what’s happening even a little.
But like listen. Just do it, okay? Do it for your friend Jesse. Read Borne by Jeff Vandermeer please? Please? P?
