All-consuming pink object appears on the edge of Sweden

1. The Supercharts Blob roaming the streets of Malmö, Sweden.

2. Paint By Numbers, a spot for home design company Colorama, meant to inspire people to do it themselves by combining the playfulness of a kids coloring book and stylized Scandinavian art direction.“
Malmö, a Swedish border town, is located about 20 minutes by car from Copenhagen International Airport across the Åslønderbrücke Bridge. This busy city, with so many office workers commuting across the border to Copenhagen, has a unique character that is different from the smart design of Stockholm.
One such example is UPPER FIRST, a motion graphic and video production group based in Malmö. UPPER FIRST’s work, which aired on MTV Nordic’s popular show "The Supercharts,” tells the story of a city infested with “swallowing” monsters: a mysterious pink “it” that grows larger and larger by swallowing bicycles, keyboards, chairs, and tires all over the city, from back alleys and farms to cafes and parking lots.
“It” was inspired by the pink, slime-like alien creature that appears in the 1958 Hollywood sci-fi horror film “The Blob” (Blob = mass), which grows gigantic by preying on living things around it. It has a different character from the hostile alien creatures that appear in the film, blending into the town like a stray dog. The man at the counter of the cafe that is about to be swallowed up looks annoyed, but
It doesn’t seem to bother him too much. It’s true that its humorous appearance makes you want to touch it more than you would fear the unfamiliar.
“Malmö has a somewhat slow attitude towards new things and creativity. There are certainly creative people here, but there are also a lot of old-fashioned Swedish types who are afraid of change. That’s why we want people in other cities in Sweden and overseas to know more about what we do. Our goal is to create a new type of commercial, spiced with more free creativity.” UPPER FIRST has received high praise for their work on Sony Ericsson Sweden’s commercials. The pink “that” they create will swallow up all the big-headed old concepts and cutting-edge creativity,
I feel like I might burp.
Omg 😵💫 it took me a minute to respond to this because of hot wet it made me 🫣
God id just constantly be eating. A funnel in my mouth at all times. Just a mountain of beautiful girl lard.
I’d love to be a fat bimbo blob omg. Just make me massive and treat me like your personal plaything hehehe.
yesterday in the middle of my ten hour shift at a fast food restaurant I found out one of the photographers who’s a subject of the drawing I’m almost done with (drawing of John Abernathy throwing his camera from January) wants to buy the drawing.
sweeeeet
sometimes the complicity of those around me drives me crazy. How are you okay with this? How do you not see what’s in front of you? Just because it doesn’t affect you yet? How can people be in college and have no idea what’s going on around them, how to check sources, to not just trust one talking head?
