Getting back into fish keeping. Been setting his tank up for a month and he’s finally here and so much bigger than I thought.

Was going to call him marshmallow but I’m not set on it.

Suggestions would be cool. Also will share more photos of him when he’s in the tank and has settled in after a day or so.

(I originally ordered a pineapple betta and was gonna call it pizza but he couldn’t be shipped. We think he passed away. But the store owner was lovely and was showing similar guys immediately. But we went with this guy from our first short-list.

Shop is Aussie based and he has loads of cool bettas. I can link if people want.)

Im thinking this is gonna be how it stays. Mostly since I keep fucking with the plants and they aren’t too happy about it.

All of my aquariums got new plants yesterday except my ill betta. I’m already seeing flower buds on a few of the plants! 💚🪷🌱💧

Not like a complicated collage or anything, but I like bettas and well organized electric work.

I did, in fact, change it again. I think I like this layout a lot better :3

While I really like my Fluval Flex 15 my one complaint is the stupid fucking light. You can only turn it on and off with the remote and my second remote has just quit working. I have to order another one from Amazon making this the 3rd remote in 2 years. Hopefully, unless the light itself has quit working.

I know 10 bucks isn’t much but it’s still annoying especially when the first remote randomly stopped working within 4 months of getting the tank. 🙄

Have I redone my scape 3 times? Yes. Will I redo it more before its done cycling? Highly likely. Its a very awkward piece of spiderwood.
