Grilled Harissa Chicken is a tasty and spicy dish that is great for a barbecue or a dinner during the week. When you grill chicken breasts, the harissa paste gives them a spicy kick and lots of different flavors.
Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts. 4 tablespoons harissa paste. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. ½ teaspoon salt. ¼ teaspoon black pepper. Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish.
Instructions: In a bowl, mix together harissa paste, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and coat them with the harissa mixture. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley before serving.
