So, I have several old frames that I’ve purchased at various places over the years. I’ve been putting some of my paintings with some of these frames as I prep for the exhibition. I’m really happy with the way this one came together. I took this frame, sanded it down, painted it black and sanded again to give it this weathered look. When I put the painting “The Road Less Hollow” in it, it all came together. What do you think?

I’m gonna ramble a bit for a second On a Warframe idea I had.

I have alike a weird facination with swords of old medieval mythos and I thought it would be cool to create this warrior king type Warframe that can switch to these different blades…

What I Invision is a frame that would work along the lines of Lavos, where it has abilites that all function on a cool down timer.

Where it differs would be that instead of augmenting for different elemental damage, the frame is based off of the physical damage Slash, Impact, and Puncture. Debating maybe also adding either Pure/Unfiltered damage or Void Damage(kinda the same thing) but essentially damage that ignores all barriers like Shields, Armor, or Enemy type.

The frame would be based off four legendary weapons(akin to Excalibur’s Nikana) and each exalted weapons would be a forme switch for the frame, changing the basic attack ability, movement ability, and special effect. With the fourth ability being the one to switch blades. Holding down the first and forth ability would subsequently return to the base forme

Design wise the frame would be akin to Equinox/Khora with a base forme that would incorporate all further forms. The base would be like a cascading melted set of 4 armors fused into one, with each main coulor(not counting energy) defining what each layer would be. When you switch forms that armor would molt out of the rest with it’s specific motif and metallic coulor becoming defined. I sorts picture it looking like a candle knight night mixed with The Nameless King from Dark Souls 3

In the base form you would be able to bring your own weapons(Primary, secondary, melee) but you couldn’t use any abilities other than the 4th in which you would activate your exalted form of choice. This would have a cool down of 75 seconds(even if canceled early) but every energy orb collected would lower it by 1 second so you would be locked in to your preference for a bit.

The weapons associated with each forme would be:

Exalted Dagger(forme of a Misericorde) for Impact – Carnwenhau(Arthurian/Welsh) – atleast one of the quirks with this weapon is that the more sheilds break under this blades attack the longer it’s range becomes, with the blade of the dagger, starting at .5m range and with a max of 7.5 m in attack range each shield giving roughly .5m. the movement ability here would be a vertical that would polevault forward dependant on your blade length, and the secondary ability would be to loose blade length and damage(primarily electric btw) and refill sheilds into Over Sheilds.

Exalted Rapier sword for Puncture – Joyeuse(Charlemagnian/French) – the basics play style for this form would be about stripping armor. Enemies struck with 3 heavy attacks in a row would have their armor value reduced by a third each time. This builds a stack which can be leveled up 15 times (15 enemies) which synergizes with the special ability that would give +25 armor per stack maxing up up to 375 additional armor. The movement ability would be simmilar horizontal type to Gauss’s mach rush but it would be a cylindrical rapier slash directly forward( you can change but it would be steering movement not like Excalibur’s slash dash) damaging anything Infront.

Exalted Great Sword for Slash – Durendal(Charlemagnian/French) – this would be built around health damage and life steal, essentially just a built in survivability mode. Every basic melee attack would mark an enemy (assuming it doesn’t kill them) marking up to 75 enemies at max mastery. This then ties into the special ability that would allow you to steal all health from marked enemies, armored enemies and shielded ones would have a resistance so the drain wouldn’t be as high on said enemies unless you did it for an extended period via channeling it with a higher cooldown caveat. The movement ability would have the Frame swimming it’s sword upwards with so much momentum that it lifts them a few meters off the ground and then coming back down and doing a melee slam that radiates out when the sword is re drawn from the stone marking enemies, stunning them and damaging them…

And Exalted Sword and Shield for Pure/Void – Clarent and Pridwen(Arthurian/Welsh) – since this is the most powerful ability you would only be able to use this form after you have utilized atleast one other in the mission, it would also switch from a timed based ability system to a channeling type which would mean it would run out eventually. The main quirk of the this game play is that your body would be surrounded by an orbiting shield that when standing still would nullify all ranged damage. You couldn’t swing your sword in this form but you could block, if you are melee struck by an enemy this way you could then attack for a few seconds. The movement ability would have you doing a triple jump with an shield bash into the ground reflecting all damage received as pure/void, and the special ability would be activated by tanking hits to increase a Modifier stat that would exponentially increase how much damage is done per swing and then it would become a nuke ability when sheild bashing.

This is a huge ness I wrote at like 5 am on a whim but I think I’m gonna refine this better later. Lmk what you think
