After waiting for years, it was finally a dream come true for me and my wife as we arrive in Melbourne for a thrilling Men’s Finals showdown between two legendary players: Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.

We shopped and ate our way through the festival grounds until it was finally time to get to our seats to welcome the arrival of the gladiators in the arena. The atmosphere in the Rod Laver Arena was truly special and unlike any that I have ever experienced before.

After a brief exchange and a coin toss, the match was off and what a match it was, with nail bitting moments as Carlos and Novak trading serve after serve to try to outwit and outlast each other.

Pivotal match point moment finally arrived in the 4th round with Carlos delivering a decisive blow to Novak, setting himself up in the driver’s seat for his eventual victory soon after.

Though Novak did not win AO26, he made his own indelible mark in history by owning 104 wins at Melbourne Park, putting him in first place among both men and women in history, and owning over 100 victories at the Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon, making him the only player to achieve the feat at three different major tournaments. He was truly a legend and this year’s AO26 finals marked a transition from one era of tennis to the next with Carlos becoming the youngest man to win all four majors.

AO26 Men’s Finals was an unforgettable experience for me and my wife, we cannot wait to return soon for more thrilling matches at the Rod Laver Arena for AO27!
”Guests at the #RalphLauren suite take a moment to reflect on the tournament and their spectator style”
The new black shoes Carlos wore 2 times in Melbourne are set to be released in May.
Well, Roland Garros is the next gs around the same date. Everything is always well-planned 🤔

I literally have been the whole day in twitter just having the best day celebrating carlos, just watching him achieve such incredible feats at his young age is so inspiring, really feels like we are watching something big in real time <3
carlos completing his career slam by winning the happy slam is so on brand for our sunshine boy !
Carlitos and Normie Alcaraz :).
He needs to be the cover boy of a magazine. It’s been a while. ✨️

Ps: The AO throphy is beautiful. Majestic.
now that it’s done and dusted I can reveal my predictions for the AO. I had aryna for the ladies (so I was close!) and jannik for the men (less close than I thought I’d be)
“Congratulations Carlos, I just wanted to ask a general one. Do you fully appreciate the history that you’re creating? You know, you’ve won more Grand Slam titles than anyone at age 22, the youngest comfortably to win the career Grand Slam. Are you able to fully understand what you’re doing at the moment?”
(laughs) “I’m trying.”
