Tritheism: A False Doctrine Concerning the Nature of God

Among the historic errors that have threatened orthodox Christian theology, Tritheism stands as one of the most serious misunderstandings of the doctrine of God. Tritheism teaches that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three separate gods, distinct in essence rather than united in one divine being. While this view is often rejected outright by the Church, it can still appear subtly in…

Chapter 4

The Doctrine of The Trinity

The doctrine of the Trinity is at the very heart of Christian faith. Scripture teaches that God is one in essence and three in person, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This truth is not a human construct but a divine revelation, rooted in the biblical testimony and essential for understanding redemption, worship, and the nature of God Himself.

The Unity of God

Trinity: Daughter of Wonder Woman

Ttinity: daughter of Wonder Woman! Right now a small child, but in the future a teen hero, and further in the future a young adult hero. With their powers combined, they can… bork up the timeline pretty good. And now the Super Sons are corgis, and its up to the Trinities three to recover them.

I loved this series. Lizzie, in all three states, is just trying to do her best and pretending she knows more than she actually does, and the time travel is used for character moments, development and the setup for tragedies that are set in stone. Lizzie misses her dad and time travel makes some things a little too tempting to attempt, making for a compelling read and a heartbreaking final issue.

It’s cute throughout, and it’s written in a starkly different voice than Tom King’s usual fair, which is to its strength. I wish it had ended a little more decisively, but if we’re to see Trinity again in a future Wonder Woman story I wouldn’t be mad.

What Is the Trinity?

The Trinity is the biblical doctrine that God is one in essence and three in Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. While the word “Trinity” does not appear in Scripture, the truth it describes is clearly taught throughout the Bible, especially when the whole counsel of God is considered together. For those who do not like to use words that are not found in Holy Scripture the word…

She leaves Neo in the garden, lets Lexy whisk her away into the wild churn of the matrix for a mission that is wildly underbaked and barely planned and absolutely necessary. It’s reckless, and the wind tears past her, her body leaning into impossible turns, the world blurring at the edges. The kind of movement that reminds her that the innate power of the One is her own, and she answers to no one.

Morpheus whoops when he vaults onto the back, laughter booming as she guns it down the highway. He’s hollering, “that girl can drive.” Sirens wail, suits in pursuit, and the chase explodes into chaos.

Her chimeric blood is singing in her veins, flooding her real body with heat and light and the dopamine she longs for. Thrill chasing thrill chasing thrill.

Trinity was never built for stillness; she was meant for reckless missions, constant motion. She’s reclaiming the revolutionary she was once upon a time. The terrorist, the fighter, the woman who lived on the edge of impossible now sharpened into something even more dangerous. A savior who refuses to be caged. After everything she’s been, this feels obscene in the best of ways.

When she opens her eyes to the dull blues and greys of reality, her mouth is full of blood and she’s laughing, every nerve ending blazing, every inch of her alive.

Neo’s the one who assisted her return, his hand pulling out her plug. She looks up to see him, and waits for it, already smiling.

“Don’t ever do that again,” he says.

Her grin is red with blood.

“Are you telling me what to do?” she counters, eyes so sharp. Her heart racing, arousal surging through her. Defiance buzzing through her, electric.

He goes quiet at that. Helps her out of the chair without a word. His grip is firm, almost trembling. He pulls her into a half-empty room and presses her back against the wall like he needs something solid behind her. His kiss is so intense that she feels dizzy from it. Lets him kiss her, kiss the taste of her blood and sweat and spit, his tongue so warm in her mouth. She’s breathless, hungry for him. Hungry for how crazy he is for her.

“I can’t lose you,” he says into her mouth.

“I’m the One, Neo,” she says, steady and sharp. “You can’t lose me. Not now.”

It’s an experienced way that he gets his hand down her pants. She’s been ready for him so it’s an easy slide when he pushes three fingers into her. She lets out guttural moan anyway. The room is immediately empty.

“Don’t do that again,” he says against her skin. “Trinity, I can’t—”

She’s loving this. Goads him. “Come on,” she says. “You can fuck me harder than that.” He makes a sound that is half protest, half surrender.

It’s too hard but it’s just the right rhythm and she’s crazy herself.

He’s got her name on his lips again and she’s leaning her head back, her eyes on the ceiling even if her vision whites out. “Come on,” she whispers, over and over, not just to him. To herself. To the world. To the terror still living in fault lines between the two of them. Her body starts to shake with desire.

“God, you’re so beautiful like this–” he says.

A madness shared and she breaks, sharp and sudden, clinging to him as the world tilts. His fingers keep moving, softer as the pleasure descends. He’s rutting against her body listlessly. His desire present but not as important as this, making sure she’s locked in his arms. That she’s his.

She takes a moment before she blinks tears away and gets her hands on him, pushing him against the wall and sliding to her knees fast. Her grin feral as she makes short work of his buckle and pants, and she’s efficient, oh so efficient at getting her mouth on him. Her tongue sliding along his length before taking him in deep.

They never– they’ve never done this. She’s never in her life done this for him. There’s always been other ways– other means. He was too precious to ask for it, and she never had a taste for it back then. But it’s been decades of sucking Chad’s dick and she’s learned to like it well enough, and it’ll be better when it’s Neo pulsing in her mouth, after all.

She’s in a punishing mood and she’s got a hand pushing his hip against the wall to keep him somewhat steady. Tears blur her vision but she can see him, coming apart and losing his mind. She hums, letting that vibration add to the overwhelming sensation, and elicit the weakest of moans that seems to start from his toes before rising out his throat.

It’s all very quick. As Tiffany, she had become quite good at this.

Her blood and spit and his come leaking out of her mouth as she pulls back, looks up at him, and clearly swallows hard. He’s so startled and shocked by her; he looks haunted, he looks so young again. This, this was unexpected. She feels sticky and strange and wants his fingers back inside her, but she remains kneeling, looking up at him. Breathing deep.

“I’m going to go to the Matrix whenever I damn well please, Neo,” she says. “Trust me. Trust that I’ll come back to you. I always do.” Her mouth curves, not unkind. “It’s not like I ever had a choice.”

He looks ruined. Breathing too fast. Eyes blown wide like the ground just shifted under him.

She straightens, smooth and unhurried, tucking him back into place with practiced care, bringing herself eye to eye with him. “You see,” she says softly, “I never had the luxury of choosing, Neo. I didn’t get to choose you. You’re written into my code.” She wipes her mouth. “You’re in my bones, in all the new shit they shoved inside me to bring me back again, everything that I am is yours,” she says and her gaze holds his. “But you, you get to choose me.”

“You were never a choice,” he says, voice breaking immediately. “Not for me. Never. There was never an option to not love you, never a world where I didn’t love you.”

“Then love me,” she whispers, leaning into his neck, breath warm beneath his ear. “And let me go.” She pauses there, her nose sliding against his skin. “I always come back.”

Something in him collapses. His face crumples like he’s been holding himself together with sheer will. A sharp, broken inhale tears out of him, then another, and another. And it’s the kind of sob that shakes his entire body, the kind he can’t stop.

She holds him, holds him until he’s still.
