(TimA)
he used to be part of the Monolith until the events of SoC, but now he’s a loner. him and his partner Smyrna hang around Rostok when they have money to spend and are pretty friendly with Freedom. However, neither of them have any desire to tie themselves down to any particular faction. comes with too much drama and the two of them would rather explore on their own than worry about skirmishing with Duty and all that.
In this world line, everything is peaceful.
When Tima asks for directions, Rock tells her that this is just how robots are, but he still takes her hand and leads her to her destination.
When they arrive at the place Tima mentioned, Kenichi comes up to her, waving happily.
Rock turns his back on the two happy people, but they smile at him as a thank you for bringing them there, and he is confused that the three of them had been planning to eat dinner together without him realizing it. Still, he doesn’t refuse.
The sky over Metropolis is a clear blue again today.
The film is based on a story by Osamu Tezuka, directed by Rintaro, and written by Katsuhiro Otomo.
In this video, there is a scene where Ban Shunsaku and Kenichi arrive in Metropolis where a celebration is taking place and witness Rock hitting a robot.
As the title suggests, I like how the focus is on the robots of Metropolis.

“My tits are about to drop off.”
Utter confusion draws Anaïs’s gaze down to, well, said tits. “That would be alarming.” Beat. “In my professional medical opinion. And if I were to prescribe a solution, perhaps loosening of the corset? And an advil a day.”

ALTSome photos of my orange boy, Timatourou (Tima for short), who I had to say a heartbreaking goodbye to this week. We had seven years together and I absolutely loved him to bits. The first cat I ever owned. I got him 3 weeks after moving to the city I live in now. Top left is the day I brought him home, he loved and trusted me immediately. Bottom right is one of my last photos of him, sat on top of me, purring for forehead skritches.
Love you Tima 🧡

Made this almost a year ago when I was freaking out about being able to see Metropolis in theatres.

The music and chatter are loud, and yet they blend into the air seamlessly; like a breeze, or white noise.
Tristan moves from his spot only once he notices Tima walk through the door — bee-lining through the crowd all the way to her. “If I told you I threw this whole party just for you, would you believe it?” Tristan quips. Then, “I didn’t, but I could have.”
