March is here, and with it comes several opportunities for you to discover and experience the joy, peace, and creativity of the Zentangle® Method! 🎉
My “Introduction to Zentangle” class is an ideal starting point for new students. Two IN-PERSON classes will be held at Artful3 Studio this month, with a choice of Monday, March 9 starting at 6:00 p.m. or Friday, March 13 starting at 1:00 p.m. The cost is $40 per person, which includes a special supply kit for you to use in class and then take with you to continue your Zentangle practice at home.
An ONLINE intro class hosted on Zoom will be held on Saturday, March 14 starting at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time, for $30 per person (supplies not included). Wherever you are in the world, you’re invited to join me!
Finally, our monthly Tangle Club gathering will be held at Artful3 Studio on Sunday, March 29 from 2-4 p.m., for $20 per person. Let’s have some fun together!

ZIA 637 is a bookmark I created as a visual reference to keep my word for the year in front of me. As I enter 2026 my intention is to work on bringing my life back into alignment after an absolutely chaotic year - catching up and taking care of the things that have been pushed to the back burner for too long, and at the same time intentionally working to stay on top of my current, ongoing responsibilities so that this disorganized and out of control insanity doesn’t continue to snowball.
I’ve been thinking, too, that my choice of word reflects my desire to be more mindful about how I schedule my time, spend my money, and direct my emotional energy so as to keep my reality aligned with my goals.
I don’t know about you, but I far prefer choosing a word for the year over setting myself up for failure with unattainable New Year’s resolutions. Here’s to success in 2026!

Advent Tangling Day 1. This December I’ll be doing some daily tangling on an Advent Calendar by Ildica Boyd - an embedded letter (number) on each door, plus some other designs in the middle and maybe around the edge - as a little way to carve out time for intentional creativity and calm each day. I’m choosing to go simple and use only a black pen, graphite pencil, and tortillion for this project.

Phi 44 through 48. As mentioned previously, I’m in the midst of trying to organize my life (ha!) and part of that involves sorting out the tiles I’ve created but never posted, sharing them here, then filing them in my portfolio. This is the second batch, all Phi tiles, mostly organized by date but where I wasn’t sure, I had to guess. More posts to follow as I get to them.
