Best Energy Storage Project" Award 2024

We are elated to announce that SunSource Energy has been awarded the prestigious “Best Energy Storage Project” Award at the MERCOM Clean Energy Awards 2024, for the 1.7 MWp Solar + 1.4 MWh Battery Storage Power Plant constructed in Lakshadweep for Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited. The award was presented by Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, New & Renewable Energy - Shri Pralhad Joshi.
This recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to our core purpose of ‘Courage to care for generations to come’. Lakshadweep, due to its remote location, is not connected to the national grid and used to rely on diesel-based power for its electricity needs. This project over its technical lifetime will reduce diesel consumption by up to 190 lakh litres, offsetting up to 58,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions supporting the island’s goal of energy independence.
This award is an important milestone in our journey of simplifying the clean energy transition. We remain dedicated to providing solar power projects that address the energy challenges of today and tomorrow. Here’s to building a greener and more sustainable India together!

Yet, the current reliance on fossil fuels and aging infrastructure has left the country vulnerable to outages and unsustainable energy costs.

Solar Power Projects in Uttar Pradesh !

SunSource Energy is elated to announce the commissioning of three open access solar power plants in Uttar Pradesh with a total capacity of 45 MW. The three projects will generate 1.5 mn MWh of solar energy and offset up to 1.4 million tonnes of CO2 emissions during its technical lifetime. This development signifies our continued commitment to the state of Uttar Pradesh where we now have six operational open access projects.
With clientele spanning sectors such as automotive, education, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and IT, we are glad to be the sustainability partner of choice for corporates in UP. With some of the country’s largest and technologically advanced solar power projects, UP is driving the transition towards clean and sustainable energy in an accelerated manner.
