miscellaneous Things I’ve decided about Stacks:
- when she gets overstimulated from noise she can retract her finials and shut off her audials. takes her a little bit to discover and then she absolutely uses it to ignore her mom and the kids’ band
- stims stims stims. mostly when she’s happy (flapping servos and finial wiggles and terrible dances (much like her mother she Cannot dance except in Optimal Flow State)) and also when she’s Bored (waggling forklift arms on her back and bouncing tire-heels on the floor) before this gets um. Trained out of her :’)
- calls almost every bot aunt or uncle (most of them hate this at first but they grow to love it) (Springer and Prowl don’t tho) exceptions include her dad, Optimus, Elita, and the cons
- have I mentioned the stickers? because the kids give her stickers and they get progressively worn away and she has to reckon with the last reminders of home being gone
- yearns for human food. she gets so so sick but it smells and tastes So Nice surely this time she’ll be able to digest it (↔️😐)
- you know those like 4 hour mathematical music videos that are on youtube? like Lucid Rhythms and shit? that’s what she needs to fall asleep every night for Ages

- gets overstimulated way easier after the plot climax but she needs to keep touching and straining to listen for her family to make sure they’re real. this leads to a lot of meltdowns and it takes her A While to break out of the habit of pushing herself that far sensory-wise
- she can lift her dad. strong butch 🦾
- inspired by my wife’s lived experience, she’s one of those butches that’s 100% cis but is constantly mistaken for a man*
- her fingers don’t work on smartphones but her servos are small enough to stretch a pair of touchscreen gloves over. she cannot stand the sensation tho
- speaking of servos and sensation she loves touching her mother’s hair and though she would never say anything she’s really sad to see it styled different after the climax. hard to run big fingies through bangs :(
- have I mentioned The Cube. she can Cube herself and it’s plot-relevant
