Marriage? Hmm, it’s possible, yeah, there have been political e-girls in the past that have quit politics to focus on their family, though that’d mean she got married to Michael McCarthy, which is a bit too fast, considering it seemed like they only sort of just started meeting each other. Maybe the relationship just became serious and so she wants to pull back, but not necessarily marriage.

Oh shit, yeah, both her Instagram and Twitter are deleted. Any wonders as to why? As far as I’m aware, I don’t remember any scandal happening with her. Usually political e-girls, when caught in a major scandal of some sorts, delete their social media presence, look at Sarah Stock. But I’m not aware if anything scandal related happened to her recently. I guess the reason doesn’t necessarily have to be a scandal, but often times in cases like this it is, but maybe she just wanted to leave public life or take a break.

SATA Cable vs SAS Cable: Stop Confusing Them!

👋 Home PC Builds vs Server Operations—Pick the Wrong Cable and Your Data Could Be Lost!

🔌 Physical Interfaces:

SATA Cable: Flat L-shape, 7-pin data + 15-pin power connectors separated, no latches, secured by friction.

SAS Cable: Often features a plastic divider in the middle, typically integrated or mini-SAS HD, with metal latches that click audibly upon insertion/removal to prevent loosening.

⚡ Performance Showdown:

SATA 3.0: 6Gbps, half-duplex, suitable for home hard drives and NAS.

SAS: Starts at 12Gbps, full-duplex bidirectional transfer, strong error correction, low latency, enterprise-grade 24/7 stable operation.

🤝 Compatibility Rules (Key Points!):

✅ SAS controller → SATA hard drive: Compatible! Common mixed connections on server backplanes.

❌ SATA controller → SAS hard drive: Will not be recognized! Do not connect SAS drives to regular desktop PCs.

🎯 How to choose?

Home/Desktop: SATA cables—cost-effective and sufficient for daily use.

Server/Data Center: SAS cables are mandatory! High bandwidth + anti-loosening + vibration resistance—data security comes first.

💡 Bottom line: They look alike, but don’t mix them up; choose the right cable for rock-solid reliability!

Can SAS and SATA be interconnected using a SAS Cable Adapter?

Many people face this dilemma when expanding servers or storage: Can SAS and SATA drives be connected interchangeably?

The answer is straightforward:

✅ SAS Controller → Can connect to SATA drives (stable conversion achieved with SAS Cable Adapter)

❌ SATA Controller → Cannot connect to SAS drives (protocol incompatibility prevents recognition)

Key Takeaways

Using a proper SAS Cable Adapter, SAS-to-SATA conversion is fully feasible without disk loss or speed degradation.

Ideal for enterprise storage expansion, repurposing old drives, and hybrid storage solutions.

Avoid cheap adapters; choose industrial-grade components for server environments.

Remember this rule: SAS is backward compatible with SATA, but SATA is not upward compatible with SAS. Compatibility depends on the controller and SAS Cable Adapter.

Screen One Essential: The Solution

The final assault sequence in Who Dares Wins isn’t flashy. It isn’t comic book. It’s disciplined, mechanical, and unapologetically British.

In this episode we dive into the staging, the tension, and the real reason Lewis Collins came dangerously close to becoming James Bond — before it slipped away.

>> Artículo del médico escritor malagueño Juan Manuel Jimenez Muñoz. NO TIENE DESPERDICIO!!! - Este paisano es un fenómeno*

=====================

What SAS Storage Is and Why It Remains Critical for Enterprises

In an era where NVMe and all-flash storage dominate the spotlight, one “traditional” technology continues to quietly power the core systems of enterprises worldwide—SAS storage.

Many may assume SAS is a relic of the past, yet it remains irreplaceable in critical data center roles. Why is this so?

SAS vs SATA: More Than Speed—The Synonym for Reliability

Full-duplex vs Half-duplex: SAS enables simultaneous read/write operations like a two-way highway; SATA resembles a single lane prone to congestion during peak times.

Built for 24/7 Operation: SAS drives boast an MTBF exceeding 1.6 million hours, engineered for uninterrupted enterprise workloads.

Inherently Scalable: A single port can connect hundreds of devices, forming stable and efficient storage networks.

▎Why Does SAS Remain Critical in the NVMe Era?

Unquestionable Reliability → In critical sectors like finance and healthcare, data integrity far outweighs peak speeds. SAS’s end-to-end verification mechanisms deliver “trusted stability.”

Mature Ecosystem and Predictability → Operations teams have deep familiarity with its performance and management tools. In complex enterprise environments, “certainty” often holds greater value than “potential.”

Master of Mixed Workloads → Exceptionally adept at handling complex I/O scenarios with mixed random reads and writes in databases and virtualization platforms, delivering consistently robust performance.

Highly Competitive TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) → For data lakes and backup/archiving requiring massive storage, high-capacity SAS drives remain the optimal solution balancing cost and reliability.

Technology evolution isn’t about replacement, but layered convergence:

Frontier Hot Data Layer → NVMe

Core Applications & Mixed Workload Layer → SAS

High-Capacity & Archive Layer → SATA/Object Storage

SAS may not be the flashiest technology, but it remains the solid foundation of the digital world. When selecting storage solutions, the key isn’t chasing the latest trends, but matching the most reliable technology to the right scenario.

Sunday Afternoon Social 12th Anniversary: Snowed In, Locked In

We broke records at the Sunday Afternoon Social: Toronto’s all-time record for snowfall in a single day was broken on January 25, 2026, when 56 cm (22 inches) fell in the downtown area, and we danced all day long together. GOOD JOB TEAM.

While the city disappeared under snow, the Social did what it’s always done best: brought people together. Despite the whiteout outside, the loft was full,…

Update: Seraph and Sentinel, Ch. 11

By the end of class, Max was no less tangled up in her head when Nathan dragged a chair over and dropped into it beside her without asking. He leaned in close, close enough that she caught the faint, familiar edge of his cologne, and for a moment his attention seemed to narrow completely onto her screen.

“That one looks like it should be on a movie poster,” he said, pointing at a dramatic shot of fog hanging over the Bay on an early morning.

There was a softness in his voice she wasn’t used to hearing in class. It was less performative, almost… pleased?

Max rolled her eyes. “You’re just saying that because it’s moody.” She tried to quell the smile that threatened to cross her lips.

“Moody sells,” he replied, a small smirk tugging at his mouth. It faded just as quickly, his gaze drifting for half a second before snapping back to the image like he’d caught himself wandering.

“So,” he said eventually, “you got time tonight? We could grab food,” he added, glancing at her, an almost-hesitant confidence threading through his tone.

It was exactly the kind of invitation she’d imagined and feared in equal measure, but… “I… can’t,” she slipped out. She cleared her throat. “I, uh… I already told Rachel I’d study with her.”

“Rachel?” he asked like he was trying to sound casual, but even he couldn’t hide the surprise from his voice.

“Yeah. She texted me earlier.”

“Well,” he grinned, “put in a good word for me, then.”

Enterprise Storage Upgrade: Don’t Let Cables Hold You Back.

When investing heavily in all-flash arrays and high-speed hard drives, have you overlooked the “road” through which data flows? Slim SAS cables offer a modern solution to replace traditional bulky cables.

Its core value is straightforward:

✔ Slimmer, space-saving design → Improves server ventilation and density.

✔ Higher bandwidth support → Ready for SAS 4.0 and beyond.

✔ Enhanced signal integrity → Fully shielded design ensures stable data transmission.

How to choose? Keep three points in mind:

  1. Match by speed: Select cables based on your drive and controller protocols (e.g., SAS 3.0/4.0).

2. Opt for shorter lengths: Keep cables as short as feasible within routing constraints to minimize signal attenuation.

3. Prioritize quality: Select premium shielding and gold-plated connectors—long-term reliability delivers true savings.

Every detail matters in a smart upgrade. Give your data a faster “highway.”
