not everyone does AU. Quit acting like you’re ~superior~ to people who do single verse because they want their character to be with one person and one person only, in one universe. And! As a bonus! I think it’s kind of shitty to have your character be emotionally involved with someone else’s without being clear to them that you do AU’s and that the AU’s have nothing to do with said character you’re emotionally involved with.

If someone’s pissed at you because you fucked over their character by shoving them into one of a thousand AU’s without having the decency to say something about it OOC beforehand, you fucking deserve it. If people are pissed at you, because you’re throwing your character at them, when they’re taken or simply not interested, and you choose to be offended OOC about it, you fucking deserve it.
But don’t you fucking dare turn your nose up on me, because I choose to have one fucking universe, and I’d prefer my partner do the same.
Key word here, is prefer. I’m not about to put up a huge fuss about AU shit, unless it legitimately becomes a problem.
