In Robotrek (スラップスティック) “Katrina” in the Japanese version is “Catherine” (カトリーヌ), which is mentioned in Terranigma (天地創造) by a kid watching the chicken race.

Soul Blazer and Robotrek, again.

In Soul Blazer (ソウルブレイダー): The Kingdom of Freil, (フレイル王国/フレイ=Freyr/Frey), in Norse mythology is the god associated with kingship, fertility, peace, prosperity, fair weather, and good harvest. “Lord” “Master” “fruitful”, “generative” “seed.”

Then…

That’s where the idea for that combination came in Robotrek (スラップスティック):

Blade 3 (レーザーブレイド [Lazer Blade]) + Seed (はなのたね [Flower seeds])= Blade 4 (ソウルブレイド [SoulBlade])

Cave Mouth

Hero entering the site, seeing the waterfall coming out of a cavern, in front of him, apart from a Rushbird flying, thought:

“It is likely that those children and that evil association: Hackers, are inside that cave”.

He then went over to read a sign outside the cave and as he did so, enemies surrounded him…

Hero: It’s dangerous. The cave is full of hazards! Public Safety Dept…

I thought it say something else…There are enemies, indeed. Well…Time to fight, Redbot.

Outside the cave, Redbot defeated the enemies. After, Hero looked up a few some rocks shaped like bird heads and a ladder and climbed it.

Above he saw a sign and read it:

“Danger! Cracks in the ground! No Entry! Rococo Anti-Fissure Committee.”

Then the boy checked each cracked floor, and then found a capsule of Cure.

So, he decided to go back down to enter the cave.

Upon entering the cave, he saw a policeman and two villagers watching Dr. Einst attempt to destroy a barrier to enter the cave.

Police: Oh, you again!

Right now the inventor is helping to find the lost children.

Hero checked the boxes that and read the label on its content one of them: “There are lots of bombs in the box”.

He then spoke to the two young men who were with the officer:

Right Young man: They say he’s a great inventor. The Mayor vouched for him, so he must be good.

Left Young man: Dr. Einst used a bomb to blow up the fallen rocks. That’s good.

After, he settles in next to the Left Young man to listen to the inventor.

Dr. Einst: Now I will rescue the children locked up in the cave. Dr. Einst will blow up the wall with a special bombs he invented.

Everyone step back.

Everyone stepped back, but Hero approached Dr. Einst to ask if he needed assist…

Hero: Dr. Einst…Can…I help…?

Dr. Einst: What! What! Are you trying to bother me? Get out!

For that reason, Hero again disappointed by that inventor’s treatment, decided to leave him alone and look for another way to aid, nevertheless the policeman noticed and told him:

Police: Hey! Hero! Don’t be rude!! Look at the invention before you go!

Hero astonished by what the officer said thought:

“What? Rude? He didn’t see the man in the white coat?”

Hero resigned and returned to see Einstein’s invention, but before he heard the policeman say to him:

Police: They’re both inventors, but there’s a lot of difference between them! Wah ha ha!

Hero thought:

“I suppose you mean the ages…Well, there is a big difference…”

So he rejoined the group to observe what Dr. Einst does.

Dr. Einst: I’m going to detonate it. It will be an impressive scene!
Detonates the wall, freeing them up so they can enter and rescue the children. Celebrating:

Dr. Einst: It was a success! All the children are safe! As a show of thanks…

Suddenly an explosion was heard which caused stones to fall again and cover the hole that had been made, to which Dr. Einst, frustrated:

Dr. Einst:……..

What’s that look…

Inventions are always failures. I’m annoyed by those who don’t understand them! By those who to cooperate with you any more!

Tell the Mayor I worked for that money!

He angrily looked at everyone present and when he approached the child, shouted at him: “Hey! Get out!”

Hero stepped back to let the frustrated old inventor pass.

The others who saw the scene:

…….. Let’s go back to town and figure out what to do!

Hero, trying to forget the bad time, approached where the rocks were blocking the passage…

“The way is bloked by falled rocks.”

And then said:

Hero: If only I had something to break them with…I’m going to back to the town if find a device for that.
I’m thinking about Redbot and its Bomb 1, but that type of bomb will cause more rocks if it explodes on that wall, and the same goes for a Big Bomb, which is even more dangerous. A device other than bombs could help more.

Thinking about Dr. Einst: “Poor Einst…

Hero: He’s so frustrated that he didn’t notice that his bomb didn’t cause the rocks to collapse.I think it was someone else.

Hmmm…I should tell him, but if I go near him, he’ll reject me.

It’s better if he figures it out on his own…

All, right! I’ll try talk to him. Maybe together we can come up with another way to destroy those rocks and save the children.

He remembered the cracked place:

Hero: Maybe someone destroyed where the cracks were and it can be accessed… We’ll have to find something for it too, but before I go back to the town and find Dr. Einst.

Item: Cure.

River

Hero: What?! Another one of those clockwork robots?! There’s no other way, we’ll have to defeat it to be able to read that sign.

After the battle, Hero approached the sign, a gelatinous being suddenly appeared from the ground: Gel.

Hero: A jelly monster! Let’s finish it off. Right, Redbot? (looking at his capsule).

Start the battle against two Gels:

Hero: Ah! It’s not one, are two. Since they are gelatinous, they must be made of water. Watch out, Redbot! That creature could rust…

Redbot was bathed by one of those Gels and was stopped.

Hero: Thank goodness, you didn’t get rusty, but you are in Stop State. Don’t worry! We’ll use your Bomb 1 attack.

They destroyed one, but the other one hit Redbot again. Hero now indicated Shoot 1. Both Gels were destroyed.

After the battle, Hero used Cure on his “Metallic friend”.

Hero: Very well! Redbot. I’ll be more careful so I don’t step on one of those jellies, I’m promise.

Redbot: Don’t worry. If they come near you again, I’ll finish off those monsters; of course, if you dodge them, that would be better. Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Hero: Ha Ha Ha Ha!

After they both laughed at that comment, Hero put Redbot away and set out to read the sign:

“Hackers monsters are lucking about. Unless you have to, keep up!

Rococo Police.”

Hero complained:

Hero: What a great information! I thought I would have something new and important to find clues about the Hackers. I will continue on my own, well, not alone…Along with my friend Redbot and my assistant Nagisa.

Hero calls Nagisa to save his progress.

Finishing saving his progress, he climbed the stairs, dodging a Mine, but…

Hero:A blue bird! Looks so cute…Wait! It wants to attack me. Redbot!

The battle against a Rushbird has begun:

Redbot fired with Shot 1, but Rushbird was able to dodge it and launched an explosive egg and pecked at him.

Hero: That Rushbird is too fast. It is able to dodge that kind of attacks…Better a frontal attack with Sword 1.

After three moments of Rushbird attacking, in which Redbot was on guard, he was finally able to defeat it with his sword:

Redbot: That will not be able to dodge, little bird!

The Rushbird was defeated and dropped a capsule with Cure.

Hero: Well done Redbot. As soon as I level up I’ll work on raising your attributes, especially your speed.

Redbot: Thanks.

Hero: There will be a shield that would help resist attacks and a change of boots to improve your speed?

Saying this, Hero accidentally ran into another Rushbird.

Hero leveled up. After celebrating and improving his robot’s
attributions…

Hero: I tried to avoid those birds… Oh, a capsule! What’s wrong with it?

Hero has found 200 GP!!

Distracted, Hero didn’t notice that a Mine was behind him, so another battle against that clockwork robot took place. After the battle ended, he found a bridge on his way. Walking on it…

Hero: There’s another one of those robots there, I’ll make it follow me so to throw off it.

Hero called him in such a way that Mine followed him reaching a corner, Hero took advantage of that space to avoid him, walked quickly until leaving him far behind.

Managing to cross the bridge, he walked south until he found another staircase. He went down and walked through the shadow, dodging a Rushbird and to his right he found a capsule with Smoke.

Hero: This is to make smoke when you want to escape from some danger. It could be used to avoid battles against those monsters,
but not for now.

He dodged the Rushbird again and as the shadow moved away another Gel appeared on the ground. In a moment of desperation Hero took out his magnifying glass and stopped Gel for a few minutes. The boy realized the effect and walked quickly backwards, confusing that enemy.
far away, he said:

Hero: Holy gears! I didn’t know the *magnifying glass could also stop and distract those monsters… At least it was a coincidence… I’ll try it with another one of those enemies..

Finding a small tree with a fruit on the ground to his left, another Gel appeared. This time Hero repeated the trick with the magnifying glass and the result was the same; he was able to avoid it. He stopped to celebrate: “It worked!” “Excellent!” Then he walked north on his left side. From the ground a Gel surprised him again, but with the magnifying glass he stopped it again and walked to until reached the exit. Arriving at the entrance of the cavern area with the river, called: Cave Mouth.

Items: 200GP and Smoke.

Rushbird:

Drops: Cure.

Rarely: Shield 1, Shield 2.

Gel:

Drops: 200GP.

Rarely: 1000GP, 7500GP

*The player uses magnifying glass, to find and observe items, but also serves to stop the enemy for about 2 seconds or push them, depending on the case.

In Robotrek (スラップスティック) the Tetron (ティアトロン,Tiatron) was tetrahedron shape, also probably named that combination of two words: [ティア] Tia/*Theia “Divine light” and [トロン] *Tron “Tool.”

*In the Greek mythology she’s one of the 12 Titans, the children of the earth goddess Gaia and the sky god Uranus in Greek mythology, also it could be a little reference of the Giant-impact hypothesis.

* Tron (トロン) is the GP in Japanese version of Robotrek.

Now this Easter egg makes sense: Uranus and Gaia

ActRaiser 2 and Illusion of Gaia/Time.

And if Robotrek had released in Europe, since the Tetron was used to see something about past, present, future or travel through time…There’s not much difference.

Updated information on the Soul Trilogy and its connections with other games from the same universe.

⚠️This little information may contain spoilers.

The Quintet Trilogy.

There are many connections between Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma:

  • Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma deal with world regeneration and all three games deal with the concept of reincarnation.
  • Blazer and Will (in form of Shadow) have the technique of launching the spirit of the Phoenix and apparently in Terranigma the weapons of the Hero, Ark, are shaped like a phoenix, too.
  • In both the Japanese and PAL versions the Soul Armor of Soul Blazer, appears in Terranigma.
  • In Illusion of Gaia, Will uses his powers to attract “Gems” like Blazer.
  • In Watermia, from Illusion of Gaia, Kara says: “Freejia was the same way, but beautiful. Things always have another side to them” in Japanese version: “As was the case with the City of Flowers, I wonder if beautiful things always have a back face.” In Terranigma, when Ark reaches the sewers of Neotokio, has a similar line: “The more fancy a town, the more dirty at the back”. In Japanese: “The more glittering the city is the more messy it is to look behind the scenes.”
  • In Angkor Wat temple, which appears in Illusion of Gaia, there is a room containing crystals that strongly resemble those in the Shrine of the Master from Soul Blazer.
  • In Neotokio, the most advanced city in the world, Ark fights a ghost hidden in a garbage can, there by reviving the Quintet programmers, including a chicken, who are creating the game Illusion of Time 2 that is Terranigma. In the Japanese version the game, he is developing 天地創造 (Tenchi Sōzō), they were literally making Terranigma. Also, in that version, you could answer a questionnaire (Quintet Quiz) if you were an expert in the games of the company, among them Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia.

Some characters and locations seem to appear in more than one game with different names:

  • All three games feature a dog named Turbo: in Soul Blazer, he appears in Greenwood; in Illusion of Gaia, he’s at the Diamond Coast; in Terranigma, he’s Meilin’s dog.
  • In Illusion of Gaia, “The Moon tribe” people, are in the form of a Soul Blazer enemy: Ghost.
  • The enemies of Illusion of Gaia, Dinapedes and Nitropedes are similar to Metapedes of Dr. Leo’s Lab in Soul Blazer.
  • Both Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma deal with Dark and Light Gaia.
  • In Illusion of Gaia the secret boss is Metal Mantis, who was the first boss of Soul Blazer.
  • Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma share a painter in their story.
  • The “Tulip” that appears in Illusion of Gaia in the of Edward’s Castle Prison, is the same as those that appear in Soul Blazer.
  • Terranigma has Capetown in South Africa (though it can’t be visited) and Illusion of Gaia begins in South Cape.
  • Mu exists in Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma.
  • In Soul Blazer there is a place called St. Elle’s Seabed, which is “Palace of St. Ells” (セントエルズの宮殿) in Japanese. Elle (エル) of Terranigma has a similar name, both in English and in Japanese.
  • In Terranigma, before entering Great Lakes Cavern, Ark speaks with a man named Servas, who is awaiting the return of his fiancée, Nana. When she died, she became a mermaid, which is a reference to a mermaid’s dolphin in Soul Blazer, Servas, who is the reincarnation of a child who died with his father in the a shipwreck and also is mentioned on Illusion of Gaia in Larai Cliff.

Some characters and places are equivalent to the same ones from Soul Blazer:

  • Guardian of the Forest = Ra Tree (Terranigma)
  • King Magridd = King Henri (Terranigma)
  • Queen Magridd = Bloody Mary (Terranigma)
  • Magridd Castle = Sylvain Castle (Terranigma)
  • Dr. Leo = Beruga (Terranigma). In Soul Blazer, Dr. Leo says, “I am not passing away, rather, I am going to sleep. When a scientist with my knowledge is needed, I will be back.” In Terranigma, Beruga was alive in the ancient world before it was revived by Ark.

Connection of the Quintet classic games between Quintet Trilogy

ActRaiser and ActRaiser 2: For being the beginning of the Quintet Trilogy and their complementary games (Robotrek and The Granstream Saga), there are different references in these:

  • In Soul Blazer, The Master (a non-playable character this time) is represented as a serious, kind, understandable, positive, and pious deity. He forgave King Magridd and never gave up hope that Blazer would triumph against Deatholl.
  • In ActRaiser 2 The Master has the power to turn his sword into the spirit of the of Phoenix for a few moments to attack the enemy.
  • There is a child named Teddy in Soul Blazer, and he tries to sell the Goat’s Food to Blazer. He is a reference to the boy of the same name from ActRaiser.
  • In the Japanese version of the ActRaier 2, “Tower of Souls” is the “Tower of Babel” (バベルの塔戦]), which appears in Illusion of Gaia.
  • In Angel Village, appear enemies similar to Ramskulls which are from ActRaiser.
  • The outside of Angkor Wat temple is very similar to ActRaiser’s Marahna temple. Also, in this level, The Master uses the Earthquake and in Illusion of Gaia, Will (in Freedan’s form) get the “Earthquaker.”
  • On Illusion of Gaia, the boss on the Great Wall of China is very similar to the boss of the Kasandora’s desert boss from ActRaiser.
  • In Terranigma, you can see two paintings: The Master of ActRaiser 2 painted by Matis and located in Mati’s, which is in Loire, and the other in Britain in Sir Rich’s mansion. Like some statues of one of three angels that help him in ActRaiser 2, specifically The Warrior Angel in Loire Castle.
  • ActRaiser and ActRaiser 2 are of the games that appears in the Quintet Quiz of Neotokio in Terranigma in the Japanese version.
  • In Terranigma the virus created by Beruga, “Asmodeus” is a reference of ActRaiser 2 the boss: Deception, in Japanese version: 欲望|Lust. Deception, apart from his attacks, sludge spit, fireball and bomb; he teleports to escape and uses his “Teleportation orb” to take The Master to another site on the same battlefield. Unlike “Asmodeus”, that demon teleports the combatant, but doesn’t erase him forever.
  • Although in interview of Koji Yokota by John Szczepaniak of his book The Untold History of Japanese Game Developers: Volume 1, he revealed that The Master is part of the games Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia. It’s believed that he is also Light Gaia and Tanzra is Dark Gaia. This is believed because of the opening of Terranigma, (both in the original and the European version) which says, “They came to be called ‘God’ and 'Devil’.”
  • The damaged sound effect of Blazer is the same of the ActRaiser when The Master is damaged.
  • The sound effect when defeating an enemy can be heard in ActRaiser, Soul Blazer, and Illusion of Gaia.
  • Sound effect of the enemies attacks bullet firing can heard in ActRaiser and Soul Blazer.

Robotrek: It’s a relatively comical game where we can find again themes; such as is creation and destruction, human ambition, the use of science for good and evil, the theme of immortality that is implicit in Nagisa an assistant android with the resemblance to the deceased mother of the protagonist, problems between neighbors and among others. In addition to having some elements found in the ActRaiser and Quintet Trilogy, Robotrek would be the complement of those games:

  • The “Blade 4”, in the Japanese version is called “SoulBlade” (ソウルブレイド), which could be the replica of the legendary weapon of the hero of Soul Blazer, “Soul Blade”, with the technique of launching bullets shaped Phoenix.
  • There are three ways to create “Blade 4”: Combining “Seed” with “Blade 3”. The other way is combining “Smoke” with “Scrap 8”, nonetheless the first combination is a hidden reference to the Kingdom of Freil from Soul Blazer, which in Japanese is フレイル王国|Fureiru ōkoku, where フレイ means Freyr, reference to the name of the Norse god of fertility, which comes from Old Norse name Freyr (“lord”), meaning 'fertile’. Both in form and meaning, fraiwa (“seed”). And the last way, would be reaching level 80 and learn from the Inventor’s friends Lv 80, located in the Kirara Library.
  • The form bipyramid of the Tetron or “Tiatron” (ティアトロン) resembles the “Shrine of the Master” from Soul Blazer and the crystals of Angkor Wat from Illusion of Gaia.
  • It’s probably the name “Tetron” is the combination of two words:Tia,Theia/Thea"Divine"or “Divine light” and Tron “Tool” take into account that Theia or Euryphaessa is one of the twelve Titans, the children of the earth goddess Gaia and the sky god Uranus in Greek mythology, also it could be a little reference of the Giant-impact hypothesis.
  • Inside the Count Polinky’s mansion you can see knight’s armors similar to the enemies of Stormrook from ActRaiser 2, but without the axe and shield. However, in this stage you can learn create Axe 1 (Inventor’s Friend Lv 9).
  • In the Clock Tower of Count Polinky’s mansion where there is an enmity of some dolls with the mice of the place, this part of the game could be a reference to Soul Blazer in parody form.
  • On the South Isle, a native scares the main character with a joke similar to that made by the dog from GreenWood’s Restaurant in Soul Blazer.
  • In the Japanese version, the chicken on the farm of Robotrek is called “Catherine” (カトリーヌ), which is mentioned in Terranigma by a boy watching the chicken race, also are the only Quintet Super Nintendo Entertainment System games where chickens appear and the main character can talk to them.
  • On Robotrek "Rococo Town" (ロココ町) is a reference of the art style that originated in Paris in the late 17th and early 18th century. Also of the Japanese SF novel “Rococo Town: Rococo-chō” by Masahiko Shimada. In Terranigma, Ark buys for 800 Gems: “Rococo Apartment” (ロココアパート).
  • In the computer of the main character (Hero’s house) and that of his father, mentions ActRaiser 2 and Illusion of Gaia (in the Japanese and American version).
  • With the CyberJack, the player can enter the computer in dad’s house and meet the Development staff of Quintet. This secret is present in Actraiser 2 and Terranigma, too.
  • The outside of Gateau’s space fortress is shaped similar to that of the Tower of Babel.
  • In Rococo Town (from Robotrek), The Master is mentioned in diary of the young man in love with Pops’ daughter, where it narrates the preparation of a wedding: “From the bottom of my heart, to the Deity who brought us together I can’t help but get excited.” (“ふたりをめぐりあわせてくれた 神様に 心の底から かんしゃせずにはいられない”), doesn’t seem to refer to the deity of South Isle.
  • Robotrek is one of the games that appears in the Quintet Quiz of Neotokio from Terranigma in the Japanese version.
  • On Terranigma, in one of the houses in Crysta there is a footboard from the one bed a generic cat’s face carved in wood that is later seen again in a mini game in Liotto, however the cat face is similar to the official art of Kurogane the cat from Robotrek.
  • In both the Japanese and American versions, a girl’s dog and her grandmother’s have the name Turbo (タ ー ボ), a name given to the Turbo that appear in Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma.
  • In one video “Brute Press” VHS Vol.24 July 1995 (【非売品】ブルートプレス Vol.24 1995年7月号) published Terranigma Beta version. The sound effects can heard is the same of the Robotrek.

The Granstream Saga: It’s not certain if the story takes place on Earth or in another planet in a distant future. In American version the story of manual tells us:“One hundred years ago, on the planet of Granstream, a great war devastated the land”; while the Japanese mention “the world” (世界) and “land” (地表) or “above ground (地上): "Going back in time, 100 years ago. The war that divides the world broke out, and humankind was on the verge of extinction. Based on different magical powers as the basis of civilization, the two opposing forces "Magical Empire Army” and “Spirit Alliance Army” do not yield to each other, and finally the empire destroys the enemy’s center with forbidden super magic weapons Executed the operation. It shattered the earth’s veins and caused cataclysms. The earth’s axis tilted greatly and the surface of the earth was completely submerged. And all life and civilization rooted on the earth have perished".

Due to the fact that the connection with the others isn’t official, it could be considered as another complement to the Quintet Trilogy:

  • In the game Eon and Arcia make it a goal to raise the other continents to restore the world.
  • The level of Stalagmite Castle just like Dr. Leo’s Painting of Soul Blazer.
  • A stone appears named: Star Stone.
  • Among Eon’s weapons we find a sword called: “Arc Blazer” that increases damage to enemies that are weak against ice.And the axe of the Spirit King: “Gaia Edge.”
  • The stained glass window of the church is very similar to the one that appears in Terranigma in Litz’s church, but not the colours.
  • Outside of Airlim, the magic control Tower, it’s similar to the form of Tower of Babel.
  • The background of Curio Shop, you can find a vase with two handle, just like Illusion of Gaia.
  • Appears the enemy “Mimic”, like in Soul Blazer.
  • Eon use"Dried herb" and “Special herb” to heal like the herbs from Illusion of Gaia.
  • The original form of the Demon King Demaar (Digol) looks like the final form of Dark Gaia of Terranigma.
  • In The Granstream Saga, if Eon decides to sacrifice Arcia using her pure soul for defeat demon Demaar. In the end, “Deity” appears, sitting on a throne in the Palace of the Heaven, talking to her. This is possibly The Master from ActRaiser, but it has not been confirmed.

master-gaia-tetron-crystalblue

The reasons why the main character of Robotrek could be the reincarnation of Dr. Leo from Soul Blazer.

⚠️This writing contains spoilers of *Soul Blazer and *Robotrek.

「いつか、私のような発明家が必要になった時、再びこの世に生まれてくることだろう」

“Someday, when the world needs an inventor like me, I will be born again.”

Dr. Leo in the Japanese version.

The theory is based that although the genius inventor, Dr. Leo thought of returning to this world, it is likely that The Master (God in the Japanese version), would allow him to reincarnate in another world and without remembering his past, since being on Earth, it is possible that the same thing would happen to him again. Then, to help him, the Master would give him the joy of being reborn on a planet called Quintenix (*Gokuraku), as a new opportunity to live again as a human and with the dream of becoming a good inventor, yes we are referring to the protagonist of Robotrek.

Let’s remember a fragment of what he said before leaving in the Japanese version:

「私は生まれてくる時代を間違えたのだと思う。
 発明家は様々な機械を作り出し、人々を幸せにする。
 だが、時代に合わない天才の出現は逆に文明を衰退させてしまうのだ。
 人は何もそんなに焦って幸せになることはない」。

“I think I was born in the wrong era. Inventors create various machines and make people happy. However, the emergence of geniuses who do not adapt to the era actually causes the decline of civilization. People do not become happy being in such a hurry. I hope everyone can find happiness little by little.”

About Robotrek, one of the important premises of the game is that the player takes the role of an apprentice inventor and helps others with inventions.

Now, the reasons listed:

■That child’s dream is to be a good inventor like his father.

■He is an inventor’s apprentice, so he starts from scratch.

■He has an inventor father, as Lisa, Dr. Leo’s daughter.

■Absence of his mother, like Lisa, however, changes because his father built an android named Nagisa who, apart from being his son’s assistant, secretly takes on the role of mother.

■He lived at his father’s house who is an inventor. At the beginning of the game he moves to another house that will be his new home, because he wants to be independent and study about inventions, which his father agrees would try not to involve him with the “evil” organization called Hackers.

■The same thing almost happened to him as Lisa regarding the Hackers who wanted her father to work for said “evil” organization.

■He likes animals and with an invention of his father’s colleague, who learned to create, he talks with them. In general, he appreciate nature, in fact he donated a seed for a little girl to make bloom in Rococo Town.

■He met two dogs named Turbo.

■He was in contact with the replicas of the Soul Blade. Mentioned by Robot K as the Legendary Blade.

■Explodes in three scenes of the game, but without any damage, including in the opening. In the game he is saved from exploding with the help of the Tetron and later by Kotetsu; although in the present, his father found him in the rubble of the destroyed Hackers air base.

■Some Hacker combatant understood his situation.

■When you talk to the Mayor again, after Rose’s betrayal, he says in the Japanese version: “Women totally confuse men. It is a terrifying creature. You should remember that well too.”

It might sound sexist, but no, he is referring to his secretary Rose, potentially making the player remember the evil Queen Magridd.

This concludes the reasons why it is; Now I would like you to comment about post and if you have more reasons for that kid could be new life of Dr. Leo, I would like you to write, share them in the comments.

Note: Of course Dr. Leo is an allegory of the Renaissance genius Leonardo Da Vinci or rather the version of the same in the Quintet universe, but that would be a topic for a future post.

✨Special thanks to @kahran042 for the idea that the protagonist of Robotrek could be the reincarnation of Dr. Leo.✨

*Soul Blader.

*Slapstick.

*Gokuraku, a Japanese word that has many meanings depending on the context, but they all mention happiness, such as “The Greatest Happiness”, “Paradise.”

Rococo Town (To rescue the children, part 1)

Something strange has happened. The police talk to some of the neighbors near the entrance to the town. Hero stopped to listen to what they were saying:

Police:…Anyway, it will be lots of trouble, but for the sake of the children’s lives…

Please help. But be careful, it’s very dangerous by the river. Well, let’s go.

Hero, concerned, seeing that the officer was approaching, asked him what was happened:

Hero: Officer, what happened?

The officer responded:

Police: What? What happened? The children ran off toward the riverside there are landslides, and Hackers are afoot, I’m going out to get them. Ah, finally!

When he finished listening to the police officer, the boy began to plan to go in search of those children as well, but first he had to talk to Nagisa, his neighbors and the Mayor.

Hero’s House

At home, seeing Nagisa, Hero couldn’t tell her what had happened, so he just greeted her, asked her for advice and with that advice he went out in search of those naughty children.

Nagisa: With more experience you’ll be able to read books and get hints on inventing. Work hard.
Apparently she was not aware of what had happened, but in reality she already knew.

Hero went to visit Stella again.

Stella’s House.

Hero saw Stella walking quickly from one place to another. He approached her and worried and scared, she told him:

Stella: Oh, sonny. Have you heard? Some children from town got lost in the riverside cave. I wonder if they’re safe.

When I think of how their mothers worry, I pity them.

Hero: I’m so sorry, Stella.

He left Stella’s house to go see the Major. On his way, he saw the little girl with her dog Turbo walking back and forth.

Hero, suspecting that she might know more about why those children went to the cave with a river, asked her:

Hero: Excuse me, do you know why the boys went to a cave?

Little girl: The boys? They’re looking for the Hacker’s hideout in the cave by the river. That’s what they say.

People are always chasing their dreams. It’s not too cool to get lost.

Hero: About the dreams is true and the other one…Hmmm…Thank you very much for the information.

Hero thinking:

“Why would a girl think like that? Any way, those children went in search the Hackers. I’ll go to rescue those boys and at the same time find out what the purpose of the Hackers…I’ll go for the mayor.

He continued going to City Hall. He entered the Mayor’s office:

Mayor’s office

Mayor: Einst isn’t here any more, kid. He heard some kids were trapped in a cave, he went to see if, he could help. He really is as great an inventor as they say he is.

Surprised, Hero thought:

"What?! That inventor jealous of his knowledge, is going in search of those children! I have to go see him. Maybe he is more kind and wants me to assist him in the rescue.”

So the more determined Hero went to look for those children.

Forest

At the entrance to the forest, Hero found a wooden sign. He read it:

“Hacker monster are lurking about. Unless you have to, keep out! Rococo Police.”

Hero: Hackers have monsters!! That’s interesting…No, no. I’m not afraid. My pal, Redbot will protect me from those creatures.

Then he entered the forest with a vegetation of bushes and trees. On the way he noticed something weird:

Hero: How weird! The mushroom that was behind me, as soon as I approached…Ah! it’s following me!…There’s another one!

The battle against a Mushroom began:

Hero: Be careful. It looks harmless, but it’s not. Don’t let your guard down.

Redbot: Understood, Hero.

The robot stood on guard, but this caused the Mushroom to come closer and shoot a spore at him, causing less damage.

Hero: Aaah! I’m glad there wasn’t much damage. Redbot! Uses Shot 1.

Redbot: Right, Hero.

Redbot defeated that mushroom with that attack.

Hero: That was close.

Redbot: Yeah.

Hero returned Redbot to his capsule and he continue run so that the other mushroom wouldn’t reach him.

Hero: It must have been one of those monsters the Hackers made…

A big clockwork robot?!

The battle against a Mine began:

Hero: For this enemy, we will need your Bomb 1. Let’s go Redbot!

So Redbot threw a Bomb 1 and with that, Mine was destroyed.

Hero: Without any problem, my partner Redbot was able to defeat that robot toy.

Redbot: Thanks, Hero.

Hero: Back to the capsule. When I need you, I won’t hesitate to take you out. Thanks again. Now to continue with the inspection of the place…Oh, another one of those Mine robots. This time I’m going to avoid it.

After dodging it, he headed to the right where he found a fruit on the ground. He inspected it and found a seed.

Hero: It must be useful for something. Since it’s biological, I highly doubt the Invention Machine will accept it.

He looked back and saw another Mushroom, to avoid fighting him, he made him follow him until he reached the other side of those trees, confuse him and thus return below where he found the seed, a capsule with 300 GP.

He again dodged the Mine to the north and managed to get out of the forest.

He made his way south until he reached a river.

Items: Seed and 300 GP.

*Very rarely will drop a capsule with 1000 GP or 7500 GP. It is a matter of luck to get them.
