Sibling relationships are really not like anything else because what do you mean I can just say “Do you ever think about, if we were in a book, what the fandom would think about us?” and not only will he hear me out, but he will ask questions, provide opinions, and then pull out a foam sword and start stabbing me? Then I get the sword from him and start poking him back and then he gets it back somehow and also runs and grabs my cow hat and my chunky cup (off-brand Stanley, dubbed “Chunky Cup” by the same brother) because he likes seeing me wear the cow hat.
And then at some point the youngest brother appears and Middle turns to poke him with the sword and Youngest pulls his toy gun that fires elastic bands out of absolutely nowhere, and Middle hangs the sword from my hood to go chase after Youngest. And the whole time I’m just here like “…ok anyways” because this is a normal day for us.
Also me and Middle can kind of read each others minds, we’re like the same person half the time, and the other half he tells me straight to my face that I am Not Normal, while knowing full well that he is also Not Normal. A friend of mine dubbed us Autism Family (He guessed about Middle before he was even diagnosed from just my description of him lmao) and I just think that the ability to walk into a room, see this Child who I have known our entire lives, and instantly point at him and make a random noise which he instantly repeats back - I just think that’s so beautiful.
This isn’t really agere related or anything, I just think it’s cool. Because rest assured, I do this whether I’m Little or not. (although fun times with my brothers is in fact a sure way to make me regress because of the sheer chaos of it all lmao)
