The act of killing endangered species is a mark of insensitivity & needs correction - we need to ‘be human’ to animals too! Absolutely! And yet law is about correction and reform- it needs to bring change! So bring #SalmanKhan to book by all means but how does putting him in prison help? Is he being penalised only because he is a celebrity? How about penalty and a large fine? The act occurred in 1998, the trial should have moved faster to be contextual, and even if the verdict comes twenty years too late it should be about #reform and #change not about making a scapegoat pay a price because he’s famous and you want to ‘punish’ him to prove a point! The #penalcode needs to be changed where a crime like #rape is given a life sentence and this kind of wrong practice of killing endangered species is dealt with by penalty and reform! We all know Salman is no criminal and definitely does not need to be ‘jailed’! Jail is for people who are dangerous and committing dangerous crimes and cannot live among normal people because people are unsafe around him! Let’s be reasonable- he’s definitely not someone who people are unsafe around? And not even the #blackBuck is unsafe around him anymore #blackbuckpoachingcase (at Taj Swarna, Amritsar)
