11: Does your character have hobbies? What is their relationship to their hobbies?
Nora does not have hobbies. Her hobbies is: smoking and drinking, sleeping off the smoking and drinking, and working. Zach on the other hand DOES have hobbies! He loves to play with his dogs and play video games, and he’s a piano player! He likes to compose pieces sometimes when he can’t sleep.
16: What do other people think of your character? How closely do their perceptions align with who your character is as a person?
Ouuuuuuughhhh, that’s rough for both of them. Zach is a local celebrity almost, his parents are super rich from privately owning the largest biotech company in the world, and he’s a cute bachelor. He’s portrayed as uwu cute baby too precious for this world, when really he’s savant-level intelligent and a little on the awkward side, he’s not suave and doesn’t think of himself as handsome. He’s Just Some Guy
Nora is often perceived as cold, brash, angry, and crude. She is definitely some of those things, but it’s all a self-defense mechanism. She ran away from home/was homeless as a teenager, her mother was brutally murdered and the case left cold when she was a child, and her entire adult life has been marked by addiction and that unsolved murder that haunts her. She simply can’t handle being vulnerable, but she does crave someone close enough to let in on all her secrets. She’s also creepy-insightful because she’s an actual empath and knows what others are feeling. So being Perceived with a capital P by this small young woman who doesn’t appear to care about anything is startling.

“his car? was he still in it?” dead or alive was the question she wanted to ask, but… well, nora had a theory. her eyes flickered towards one of the decrepit vehicles on the highway where they walked – used to be a light blue, by the looks of it. convertible, white leather seats, the skeletons of suitcases still resting on the backseats. no people, though. not that it mattered. she reached in, opening the glove box, rifled around a bit before frowning.
“do you sleep walk a lot? i’m not gonna have to put a leash on you, am i? even out here, i think we’d get some funny looks.”
