Here’s the Milo infodump that was promised previously:

“The last 15 years of Milo’s life have been hard: From losing his grandpa, to his declining health after an infection, to moving out of his childhood home into a very small, shabby flat in the big city for better treatment, and all the little ups and downs that have followed these events. Poverty, isolation, and loss have been reoccurring themes, but Milo has fought and refuses to be defeated, managing to find peace even throughout the worst of times. After many years struggling with various appointments, procedures, and surgeries, Milo is feeling the best he has in a long time, and is ready to bring his Grandpa’s old farm back to life.”
Basics:

- Proud owner of Honeydew Farm. Has the forest layout. I imagined Milo’s grandfather lived there for an unspecified period of time, probably in his 20s, maybe a bit into his 30s. Left temporarily

Fun Facts
- Walks around everywhere barefoot. Loves to feel the earth beneath his feet. Don’t ask how often he needs Harvey or Shane’s help getting out stickers
- Loves going 4 walks and 2 forage. Gets up bright and early to do so and make his rounds
- Frequently puts flowers in his hair. Feels like life is all about experiencing small joys like that
- Paints his nails, usually multicolor. It started with him just taking care of them generally.
- He’s learned to appreciate general maintenance like that over the years, also taking an interest in things like nutrition and fitness. He has to be mindful of his body anyway and show it extra care, so might as well try to make taking care of it less of a chore.
- Hair fluffy :) also the pink is natural
- Forgetful as FUUUUUUCK IF you notice a tone change my edible jurst kicked in . Uses the old strings on the finger trick but he keeps running out of string and forgets to replace it. He just tries to make do with whatever he has on hand (Teehee) be it shoelaces, ribbon, zip ties. and then he forgets to tie something to his finger as a reminder to replace it.
- Has a sweet tooth (SWEET TOOTH TWISTED METAL 4) (i started worrying twisted metal 4 was like the one game sweet tooth isnt in because I am Not a twisted Metal expert most of my Twisted Metal knowledge is based upon me cornering my brother and killing him repeatedly with mr.slam or playing with a two person controller in order to play drive around where I just took my favorite car and explored the map and sometimes followed the road safety law sometimes not and sometimes I played dolls. like with the cars) (Anyway i dont know things and because of this and my luck I figured the one game in particular I thought of woudl be like the one game iconic character Sweet Tooth like Mascot from Twisted Metal was in
- Anyway he has a sweet tooth! But he’s very particular about his pastries. Doesn’t like things that are too heavy, with the exception of red velvet cake.
- A tad bit clumsy, usually at the worst of times when he’s meeting someone and trying to make a good impression, or when he needs a steady, careful hand for a task.
- Has significant health issues that have left him in debt. He’s received treatment and immeasurably benefited from it, but he’s still disabled. Dysautonomia, autoimmunity, ME/CFS.
- He’s weak to start out with so the farming Lyfe is hard for him at first, he’s also regularly neglecting his health and pushing himself for various reasons
Relationships:

Shane:
- First person, aside from Robin and Lewis, Milo met. Interrupted him halfway through his nervous “Hi! I’m the new farmer that just moved in last week-” speech to tell him to buzz off. They’re in love
- Milo avoided him after that at first, but Emily insisted Shane was worth befriending, and that he has his problems. Milo ended up ordering him a beer three weeks later, and that was the beginning of something special.
- They’re very different from each other. Milo is 24, I see Shane as being around 29. Milo is all bubbly while Shane is gloomy. Milo believes in magic while Shane doubts such things exist. They even have… a height difference >:)
- End up being best friends by the end of Year 1.
Emily:
- Best Friends!!! They trade crystals with each other, share sewing tips, talk about life and mysteries and the mysteries of Stardew Valley in particular with one another. They’re both immensely spiritual. They’re both odd in their own ways and both very positive, and prone to seeing the good even in the most difficult experiences and tragic of circumstances.
- Emily is an in for a lot of Milo’s relationships with the locals. Though Milo is extroverted, he is very shy and sensitive. Before he was isolated due to his health, he was the type that always had to hang out with a pack, because he was too nervous going out otherwise. Emily can see this and also thinks Milo is going to be good for Pelican Town, so she helps him reach out to meet new people.

I adopted my mom’s cat and he is getting along so well with my dog. I was very worried about this initially - but I’m so happy they’re friends. I love them
