Before proceeding, I just want to let you know that some things might not make sense? I tried to explain it the best I can… After all it is a brain dump and I’m very shit at explaining stuff so A LOT of changes will be made as the AU progresses and also depending on the feedback given!!
Here are a set of questions and answers giving the basic details to the au..
Two “lucky” girls managed to resonate with the miracles of fortune and misfortune.
What are Miracles? 💫
Miracles are basically the miraculous, except they are glittering gems that are permanently attached to your body. This gives the superhumans we all know and love their powers. The big gems can be camouflaged into mini birthmarks or tattoos.
What about the Kwamis?
There are two species: Ancient Kwaams and the regular cutesy Kwamis. Kwaams are the creators of the Kwamis, their existence solely exists to give humans superhuman strength.

Why did the kwaams make the kwamis?
There are a number of magical threats to the human race such as corrupted Kwamis, Miracle Blight etc. But I wont get too much into that yet. They can also be used against rebelling miracles! (Aka villains like Hawkmoth and Mayura)
Why couldn’t the Kwaams handle it themselves?
because they’re lazy /J
Their raw power is much too dense for Earth and it’s inhabitants to withstand, so the Kwamis were created as weaker and more tolerable versions of themselves that can safely get the job done!
What causes the corrupted Kwamis and Miracle Blight?
The Supreme. Or The Kwaam of Armageddon.

Marinette?
(4 year old Marinette, with a botched hair-do, beside her Aunt. She was diagnosed with myopia around this time, hence the glasses.)
An orphaned adolescent girl who lives in Paris with her Aunt. She has a dream of becoming one of the most renowned fashion designers which gives her a passion for sewing and drawing. A fun, caring and witty perosnality, but serious when necessary. As Marinette, she has feelings for kagami that are hard to ignore. As LadyLuck, she is the guardian of the entirety of France alongside Ankoku. (Kagami)

Daughter of a powerful technological innovator. A docile regular human girl(¿?) Who suppresses her emotion to remain alert at all times and talks rather directly, but as soon as you are able to thaw the icy walls that contain her, she can be a sweet and caring person. One of the star students in the fencing team despite having more familiarity with kendo, and partakes in many different hobbies as instructed by her mother such as archery and figureskating. As her own personal hobby, she likes to draw. But this hobby is highly disapproved of her mother. As Ankoku, she radiates nothing but raw power and agility. Though she harbors a crush on her partner LadyLuck and often draws her whenever she’s alone.

12 members of an elite faculty. Gabriel and Nathalie (one of the few rebellious miracles) are among them. Each of the members each have their own personal goals. They try to achieve them in the process of achieving their main goal, securing the Miracles of fortune and misfortune to gain its unltimate power.
How do you get a Miracle?
The Miracles themselves work a bit like the soul gems from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and gaining the Miracles themselves is like gaining a vision in Genshin Impact.
The miracles: This is where miracle blight comes in. Instead of the corruption of the jewels being casued by ones own grief of the power of it draining, It’s caused by a magical pathogen created by the kwaam of Armageddon called MIASMA. This taints the user’s miracle and causes them to transform into corrupted versions of themselves that can only be purified by another Miracle’s doing.

Gaining a miracle: It requires a specific amount of passion and potential (by a kwaams standards). If the boxes beside the two of those are checked, expect an annoying little creature to appear right beside you and some random solidified crystal somewhere on your body.
Extra fact: kwamis can take the form of people to reduce inconvenience.
Annnnnnnnddd that’s all I have for now… This au is still very much work in process and is a one man project so pls be merciful if some shit doesn’t make sense… Anyway thank you for asking and hope u enjoy my ideas so far!!!
