Spring has come to an end for the Fenrir’s.
Seth maxed the mechanical skill so now the whole town has electricity and plumbing and he joined the Law Enforcement career working his way up to lvl 3 - Patrol Officer. He did start screwing his boss shortly after so let’s just hope he worked his way up the honourable way. He can’t help but think about Mel though, and the further the pregnancy goes on the more he’s thinking that it could actually be his.
Lyra on the other hand is running an incredibly successful business selling her robotics. Despite the negative review this is the first business I’ve ever had that consistently turns profit every day. See, what does that lousy reporter know anyway? She just doesn’t know why she can’t stop thinking about her.. must’ve really got in her head. One way or another.

After work, Seth brought Vi back to the flat. Guess their first shift together might’ve got them looking at each other differently.
‘Your boss, Seth? Are you joking? Have you learnt nothing about your little parade with Mel?’
'Vi isn’t married it’s different. What the problem? it’s not we’re dating it’s just a bit of fun.’
’Exactly, that’s exactly my point. It’s always fun until it’s not. If you wanna get fired in a week be my guest, but you won’t be working at my garage as a back up.’
'Jesus Ly you need me and you know it, a negative review on the first day? Real smooth, sis.’
(This was an actual ACR booty call - which almost never happens in my game - and it did not fit my head cannoned story line. It matches both their personalities so well though so I had to include it.)

I wanted to write down and detail the relationship dynamic between Vox and my oc Lyra, and it got a little long lol, so I’m posting it under the cut
[[MORE]]Vox and Lyra are both obsessive and egotistical, and they use their inflated egos to mask their insecurities. They also both have issues getting close to others, Lyra feeling as though she’s undeserving of love, and Vox being afraid of vulnerability. Their relationship starts out as just sex, just something fun to do. Vox takes an interest in Lyra due to the fact that even under a soul contract, she retained her cockiness and would constantly sass him. Part of him finds her extremely frustrating and wants to break that spirit. Another part of him is fascinated by her, and finds her attitude charming. Moreover, he adores having her attention on him as often as possible. Their arrangement gives him that attention he craves, as well as allows him a sense of control over her.
For Lyra, teasing and pissing off Vox is one of her favorite pastimes. Particularly, his obsessive need for control is an easy target, and she gets joy and amusement from frustrating him. The fact that she can get one of Hell’s biggest overlords all worked up is a massive ego boost, and eventually Vox’s presence becomes a constant for her. She can tell he wants to get her to behave like he owns her soul, but she’s never been one to be pinned down. She exploits the hell out of the fact that he contractually can’t do anything to her, and she tests the limits of their deal regularly. Despite this, Vox never stays pissed for long. She would never admit it, but she actually really likes when he pays her a lot of attention, and tends to get moody if he ignores her. With their friends-with-benefits style arrangement, she gets all the attention she wants, and gets to play into this dynamic they have in a more fulfilling way.
As their relationship develops, Lyra starts to get comfortable. She starts finding that she likes spending time with Vox, even outside of sex. She starts to feel more open with him, and telling him about herself and her life. She feels safe and comfortable with him and within their relationship, and that scares her. She wants a closeness out of this relationship that she doesn’t think she deserves. Not to mention, getting close to Vox means her insecurities bubble to the surface, putting then on full display for him to see as well. When she eventually works past this fear enough to let him in, Vox is astonished that that’s all she feels guilty about. Compared to him, her sin is nothing. He provides her with the space she needs to just be a shitty person, and gave her the encouragement to make amends with her sister which eventually leads to her redemption.
For Vox, as they grow closer in their relationship, he takes notice of how she feels safe with him. Despite the fact that he’s a serial killer, despite the fact that he’s an overlord, despite the fact that he literally owns her soul, she feels at ease around him. This makes him feel very conflicted, especially after their deal breaks and they get to know each other on a more even playing field, and she tells him about what sent her to Hell in the first place. He knows that he is an objectively worse person, and it’s never really bothered him before. But now that he has someone who he really cares about, and who cares about him too, he starts to feel a little guilty. He believes that she could absolutely redeem herself, and deserves to try. On the other hand, he believes that he is irredeemable, and doesn’t want to hold her back. So he tries push her away gently, encouraging her to go to the hotel, but she won’t try unless he does too. He isn’t exactly sure where to start, or even if it’s possible for him to become a better person, but Lyra makes him want to try.
Their connection begins as messy, imbalanced, and unlikely, but they fill in each other’s gaps. Support, comfort, safety, and space to exist as they are. And for this they’re able to grow together, and develop feelings of genuine affection.

The Mechanics - Seth & Lyra Fenrir
Lyra is technically the owner of Fenrir Automotives, but Seth does most of the customer facing work. He is much more approachable than his twin sister, but he doesn’t blame her for being cold. He hopes she can form more of a pack mentality now they’re somewhere safe.
