I’ve read the book and knew it would be a bit cringe to bring to screen, a Cinderella story in the bridgerton house would be a difficult pill.
But this.

Why is he trying to mess with her bag and her reputation without a guarantee?!
acting like a simpering baby when you need to man up and consider your reputation, your girls feelings and the life your future children will have to endure …and all youre providing is some kisses in dark corners

Oh maybe it’s his acting, or the dialogue provided (why are we recycling lines Shondaland?!).
If this is a time when men were men, when honour and duty were paramount, when Anthony Bridgerton could barely smell the perfume of his finances sister without whimpering…then what the helly is this?!
Kudos to new Francesca for giving us something compelling to watch. Pour one out for John Stirling a real one who loved his wife with stars in his eyes!

If you’re able to score tickets to any of Big Special’s shows that are left on this almost completely sold-out tour, I’d highly recommend it; if only to see two friends since the age of 17 proving that you don’t need a big band to make a big impact.
