the gym is loud with cheers as the basketball team enters. she almost winces at the group of girls to their left, pitches high as they wave for attention from the guys. robin is only here because the last time she tried sneaking out she got caught by the math teacher and was promptly escorted back in. she figures trying again would end in failure.
“i told you this was kinda lame.” she’s got a ballpoint pen out, doodling a flower on the right thigh of her jeans. eyes look up once the principal begins talking and robin makes a face when she notices jason carver. she wants to roll her eyes so hard that they fall backwards.
