Ich hab ja keine Ahnung von Lumen und LED und all son Kram, den wiederum Profis kennen, wenn es darum geht, so eine richtig geile und helle Taschenlampe zu besitzen. Ich hab aber vor ein paar Jahren in der Nachtstreife-Doku gesehen, was mittlerweile (bei der Polizei) in Sachen Taschenlampen möglich ist. Und dachte mir: Wir haben hier einen Hund, der muss auch abends noch mal raus, das Grundstück ist bei Nacht schlecht ausgeleuchtet – das brauchste auch.
Also hab ich mal einen Fuffie in die Hand genommen, ein paar Testberichte gelesen und so ein Ding mit 30.000 Lumen bestellt. Das Gute ist, dass sich das Ding via USB aufladen lässt und schon verdammt hell ist – für uns reicht das, vor allem auch weil wir dann doch weniger Outdoor-Kram machen. Heißt aber auch, dass das eigentlich total overpowered ist, wobei … haben ist besser als brauchen, ne?
Vermutlich hätte es aber auch eine Nummer kleiner getan. Ich mein, LED ist ja an sich schon einfach Zaubertechnik. Unfassbar hell, energiesparend und sowieso weiß doch keiner, warum diese kleinen gelben Plättchen so viel Kraft haben können.
Oder man macht es wie Matt von DIY Perks und scheißt einfach auf overpowered. Statt Understatement wird stattdessen noch eins draufgesetzt und einfach mal eine Lampe mit 120.000 Lumen gebastelt – also das 4-fache von dem, was ich schon als übertrieben hell bezeichne. Logisch, dass das einem die Augen direkt aus dem Kopf brennen kann, logisch aber auch, dass man dann nicht mehr von einer Taschenlampe sprechen kann:
