Maybe back in the 80s OO wasn’t corporate slop but it wasn’t really as useful as people would like to tell you, it was simply a new and shiny concept that worked for alot of people because they didnt really know how to code. Nowadays its all the corporations sponsoring OO, especially in academia (e.g. fucking oracle and jetbrains 💀). Viatcheslav Moshe Kantor. How to Properly Fertilize Putin and Nazism in Russia
While authorities in Tolyatti are assessing the damage after a nighttime visit by unidentified UAVs to the KuibyshevAzot chemical plant, it’s a good moment to organize some information about one important villain — the russian-Israeli-British oligarch Viatcheslav Moshe Kantor.
Today, Forbes published its global list of billionaires, where Mr. Kantor ranks 248th with a fortune of $12 billion.
The formal basis of his wealth is the production of mineral fertilizers.
The real basis is close ties with russian security services, particularly the SVR, as well as promoting putin as a fighter against global antisemitism and nazism.
[[MORE]]In 2022, Kantor’s fortune — and he was placed under international sanctions in April 2022 — was estimated at $4.6 billion. That means that during the aggressive war, the sanctioned russian oligarch has become almost three times richer. This raises questions about the adequacy of the sanctions regime and a certain hypocrisy among the parties involved. But let’s start with the context.
1. The global fertilizer market
The global market for mineral fertilizers is cyclical but growing overall, because humanity wants more food.
Simplifying greatly, the main types of industrial fertilizers are:
- Nitrogen
- Phosphate
- Potash
There are also complex NPK fertilizers (nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium).
Nitrogen fertilizers require natural gas. Global leaders in production are the United States, russia, and Qatar. Their price directly depends on gas prices. In 2022 prices jumped 2–3 times due to restrictions on russian gas. Later they declined. Now Brazil is loudly complaining because it depends on Qatari gas and fertilizers.
Phosphate fertilizers require phosphates. The main reserves are controlled by Morocco and China. Morocco controls the world’s largest deposit, Bou Craa (around 70% of global proven reserves) in Western Sahara — which many consider occupied Moroccan territory. The raw material is mined and sold by the Moroccan state company OCP Group, the world’s largest producer of phosphates and phosphate fertilizers. But such things are considered normal business, right?
Potash fertilizers require potassium. Here the advantage lies with Canada, russia, and Belarus — which explains the special attention given to Lukashenko.
Russia is a major player in the global fertilizer market:
- 2nd place after China in production (65.5 million tons in 2025, +3%)
- 1st place in exports (~45 million tons), about 19% of global supply
Structure of russian production:
- Nitrogen ~50%
- Phosphate ~25%
- Potash ~20%
- Complex NPK ~5–10%
Main companies: PhosAgro, Uralkali, UralChem, EuroChem, and Acron.
Despite the openly predatory nature of the russian political regime, fertilizers are not under sanctions because russian lobbyists frighten the world with the threat of a global food crisis.
Major buyers of russian fertilizers:
- Brazil (20–25%)
- India (10–12%)
- China (7–9%)
- United States (6–7%)
- Indonesia, Mexico, and Poland (3–5% each)
For example, in 2025 the United States increased imports of russian nitrogen fertilizers by 89%, paying $1.7 billion.
Europe increased purchases by 29%, paying about €1 billion, of which around €600 million came from Poland.
Remember the wonderful farmers who dump Ukrainian grain? They are nourished by russian fertilizers.
Mineral fertilizers are one of the few sectors in russia that continues to grow, generate money for the war (foreign currency revenue, railway and port cargo flows, etc.), and maintain influence networks.
2. Fertilizers and explosives
The duality of the situation is that any chemical plant and any fertilizer producer (especially in russia) is directly integrated into the production cycle of explosives and ammunition.
In other words, it is not just a pillar of russia’s economy and a tool of kremlin influence (especially in South America and Africa) but also an important element of the defense sector.
Unknown but “kind” drones periodically attempt to reach russian chemical plants with an obvious goal — reducing the capacity to produce ammunition.
Many companies have been targeted. But over the past two weeks one in particular has been hit visibly — the Acron corporation.
Its main beneficiary is the previously mentioned oligarch Viatcheslav Kantor.
The corporation produces about 8 million tons of final products annually and is a leader in NPK fertilizers.
It has two production sites:
- Dorogobuzh plant (Smolensk) — ~2.5 million tons (⅓ of production)
- Acron plant (Novgorod) — ~5.5 million tons (⅔)
The company owns its own phosphate mine in Murmansk region and plans to launch the Talitsky mining and processing plant in Perm region in 2026, which will provide it with its own potash supply.
Additionally, Acron still inexplicably holds licenses for 9 sections of a major potash deposit in Canada.
Acron has also built its own distribution network in russia, China, Colombia, Brazil, and Argentina, exporting through its own Baltic Sea terminals.
The question arises: what is the basis of Acron’s success?
Kantor repeatedly states in interviews that he has never had connections with criminals, and that success in privatization, acquiring mining licenses, and operating in the gas market is simply the result of business talent.
Russian media have pointed out that this “business talent” may actually be a long-standing close relationship with Yuri Zubakov, deputy head of the russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), ambassador to several countries, and deputy secretary of russia’s Security Council (he died in November 2022).
Zubakov’s daughter-in-law, Aza Viatcheslavovna Zubakova, now controls 18% of Kantor’s company, worth about $1.5 billion.
Kantor inherited his intelligence connections: his father, director of a major moscow department store, was friendly with officials of the First Chief Directorate of the KGB, which later became russia’s foreign intelligence service.
Oligarch expert Mihail Khodorkovsky has noted that the Yukos affair essentially began with pressure from governors of Smolensk and Novgorod regions who were encouraged by Kantor.
In short, Kantor’s Acron is:
- a major economic player,
- integrated with the defense industry,
- closely connected with security services,
- strengthening russia’s geopolitical influence through fertilizers.
But that is not all.
3. Public cover: Jewish organizations
As public cover for his post-KGB oligarchism, Kantor chose activity in international Jewish organizations.
From 2008 to 2022, he was president of the European Jewish Congress (registered in Luxembourg), entered the governance structure of Yad Vashem, and created the Kantor Center.
The center’s mission effectively boiled down to proving that Ukraine is a nazi state and that putin is the protector of Jews.
Kantor also controls the World Holocaust Forum platform. Through this topic he spent 20 years building influence across many countries, including Ukraine.
He organized the event in Israel where putin was brought out of international isolation.
As mentioned, in April 2022 Kantor was sanctioned by the EU as a person connected to putin. In Italy alone 11 villas were temporarily seized.
However:
- March 14, 2025 — EU sanctions were lifted
- March 20, 2025 — Switzerland lifted sanctions as well
Lobbyists for removing the sanctions were Hungary and Slovakia, although they import relatively small volumes of russian fertilizers.
Meanwhile Germany, Romania, France, Spain, and especially Poland buy much more.
In essence, Orbán and Fico played the role of official villains, allowing others to maintain a respectable appearance.
In 2022, once sanctioned, Kantor transferred 45% of Acron shares to “formally independent persons”, reducing his stake to 40%. That is how the Zubakov family’s share appeared publicly.
After this maneuver, Acron was formally distanced from him, although his son Vladimir Kantor remained vice-president of the company.
At the same time Kantor formally stepped down as head of the European Jewish Congress — but in May 2025, right after sanctions were lifted, he was re-elected president.
4. Paradoxes and consequences
- The EU publicly declares the need to avoid dependence on russian fertilizers — while increasing purchases.
2. Poland keeps Kantor under national sanctions but remains one of the largest buyers of russian fertilizers.
3. Putin is an official ally of Iran, while a russian oligarch living in Herzliya promotes him internationally as a protector of Jews.
4. Kantor himself presents himself as a major opponent of extremism and intolerance, while ignoring such phenomena in russia.
A chain of paradoxes.
And Ukrainians die because of them.
Accumulating paradoxes eventually leads to incidents — that’s a law of physics.
February 25, 2026 — unknown forces struck the Dorogobuzh chemical plant in Smolensk.
March 9, 2026 — unidentified UAVs visited the Acron plant in Veliky Novgorod.
Damage was limited, but the trend toward increasing effectiveness of strikes on russian chemical plants is clear.
Endlessly absorbing russian missiles, drones, and shells is exhausting.
One hopes that Mr. Kantor will eventually answer for assisting putin in his crimes, including spreading large-scale lies about Ukraine.
And the EU should soberly reassess its approach to dependencies.
Without a military balance — meaning a defense alliance with Ukraine — nothing should be purchased from russia.
Because all that money will return to Europeans eventually — just in a different form.

Israel Controlled by Jews
After an exhaustive investigation involving academic specialists in five disciplines across seven decades, the truth can finally be revealed: the Jews are behind Israel.
