March 13, 2026: We had a fun day of skiing with a lot of our friends from Cape who were also at Saddleback today.

March 12, 2026: After school/work we drove to up to our Saddleback rental house for a ski weekend with the Girouards.

March 9, 2026: It was the end of the day and I was wandering around the house trying to find something to take a photo of.
Joseph had begun playing pool when he was still in the Marines, in fact, he was ‘theater champion’, three years straight. Would likely have been 4 if he had not been wounded and medically discharged. He still enjoys to play, finding a good place, with quality opponents, that is the trick. This bar, had a reputation to be 'upscale’, and he hopes that means the tables are in good shape, and the players good enough to provide a fun challenge. He walks into the place, carrying the wooden case that carries the custom cue that his grandfather had sent to him as a gift when Joseph mentioned one time he enjoyed playing pool during the letting down time he had while deployed. He find there are a few tables, one not being used. He examines it, the felt is in excellent shape, taking a ball and gently rolling it across the surface tells him the table is level, the slate smooth. He thinks, “Nice table, balls should roll true. Getting the rack from the hanger, he starts to rack the balls, hoping someone will come over and offer him a game.

January 1, 2026: Polar plunge take two. I thought yesterday’s plunge was cold, but today was even colder. Jenn and Sam redeemed themselves and actually went in the water this time.

December 31, 2025: It was perhaps the coldest New Years plunge I’ve ever done. Only Tim and I ended up going in the water.

November 13, 2025: Nothing interesting to photograph today so I just took a photo of Jenn starting her run.

November 12, 2025: Alex straightened her hair for her dance last week now wants it straightened for regular school days.
