Ok, I think I really really really underestimated what kind of story how long of a story “The Queen that Finds Ways” will become.

It should have been a novella at worst, now it appears the whole thing, if I ease the ruffles and edges from the beginning , will turn into a whole ass novel.

Well, time to lay it down for a moment and do some proper world building and basic plotting. Discovery writing struck again. I should have known better. Fucking hell.

Throughout the ages of 16 to 19, Ivara was subject to a few courtships, per her adoptive father’s word. She didn’t want this, because all of those she was set to court were young men, and Rosaire (adoptive father; a Baron on the Privy Council of the kingdom) is pointedly homophobic as are his fellow nobles.

So Ivara set to scheming, and taught herself how to forge handwriting. To dispose of her draft forgeries, she burnt them in the fireplace in her room. The letters she’d make were in the handwriting and voice of the men she was in courtship with, declining any further involvement (or something like that).

This bought her enough time to request specialized learning at a monestary, where she would stumble into her own faith and advance towards priesthood.

Doyalist Explanation: DE forgot to make these things ignore invisible players. Not a big deal.

Watsion (funnier) Explanation: Corpus do have tech that can bypass Tenno Invisibility, but it is only used for the propaganda drones.

The Lightning in Margulis

Welp… Margulis just went into labor at the same time as Edan, she was quickly brought to another room near the one Edan was transferred into, in that moment several people began to feel an immense pain, the one currently only known as The Mother, Ira, Akhlys, Citrus and Melinoe felt Margulis’ pain during the whole process get split periodically among them, the entire time bolts of lightning kept shooting out of her, short circuiting equipment that quickly had to get replaced.

Pandora was there the whole time, helping out Margulis as much as possible, no one was really sure how or why, but her presence alone seemed to ease the pain of Margulis…

After what felt like hours the periods of pain and the lightning stopped, as finally only the cries of a baby boy are heard…

She took him in her arms and just looked at it lovingly before finally speaking up…
