You work in bed. It’s comfier than the desk in the house, even though you literally made the house… loans pending, thanks Tom Nook. It gets really hard to keep working once the night settles in and the stars nestle under the darkness. So you decide maybe you should rest… just for a moment.
Your pillow is softer than usual in the morning. It’s Isabelle, doing the work in bed while you nuzzle against her side. The computer is open, island work submitted to Nook Inc., and she’s loudly snoring. She’s in a deep slumber, stuck in her work clothes, looking content, peaceful, haooy, because she has you. You should make her pancakes again.
