Just finished watching Interceptor on Netflix. It’s clearly a low budget action flick (most of the film takes place in the same command room), but the action is actually pretty good. The director -Matthew Reilly - is primarily an author (my favourite, in fact) who writes the best action novels ever, so it makes sense that the action scenes would be great.
Some of the dialogue’s a bit cliche’d and silly, but that’s kinda true with a lot of action movies, even the classic ones.
Elsa Pataky does a great job in the action scenes and she’s a decent actress as well. She does well with what’s in front of her and the action scenes are believable, which is more than can be said for a lot of big budget movies nowadays.
Also, Chris Hemsworth has a pretty funny cameo as an electronic store employee.
