Indulge in the rich and creamy goodness of homemade Nutella chocolate hazelnut butter dip. This decadent dip is perfect for parties, snacks, or even breakfast. With just a few simple ingredients, you can enjoy the irresistible flavor of Nutella made right in your own kitchen.

Ingredients: 2 cups roasted hazelnuts. ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder. ½ cup powdered sugar. ¼ teaspoon salt. 2 tablespoons hazelnut oil or vegetable oil. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. ¼ cup milk or non-dairy alternative.

Instructions: In a food processor, blend hazelnuts until they form a smooth butter, scraping down the sides as needed. This may take about 5-7 minutes. Add cocoa powder, powdered sugar, salt, hazelnut oil, and vanilla extract to the hazelnut butter in the food processor. Blend until well combined. Gradually add milk, blending until the mixture reaches a desired creamy consistency. Taste and adjust sweetness or saltiness if needed. Transfer the Nutella chocolate hazelnut butter dip to a serving bowl. Serve immediately with your favorite fruits, pretzels, crackers, or use as a spread for toast or sandwiches.

Homemade peanut butter. The best kind of peanut butter.
It’s easy to make, delicious and cheaper than the store-bought one.
And you need only one ingredient for a basic peanut butter. Or you can switch things around and add more things. Even make a peanutella (just like a nutella, but with peanuts and vegan).
For the recipe(s) (the peanutella too) follow the link in my bio and let me know how you like it 😊

Vegan nutella alternative that’s delicious, healthy, cheap and only 3 ingredients? Yes, please! I call it peanutella, because it’s made with peanuts and it’s oil free (but still high in healthy fats) and sugar free.
To get the recipe (and my peanut butter recipe too, follow this link: https://youtu.be/n_6BAxforFU (or click the link in my bio).
You have to try this recipe and let me know how it works for you!

And sorry for the long silence… I was actually in Iceland for a week (last week) and I started a new work thing this week, so I had to let social media apart for a while to keep up with the other things in my life. I promise that I’ll try to keep you updated more ďif you want this). Let me know if you want me to post more often and if you want life updates also…

🍞 🍫 🌰Apologies in advance if my entire feed is made up of photos of this HOMEMADE HEALTHY VEGAN NUTELLA for a while. I’m just so obsessed, I cannot believe I made something so damn good. The second I finished blending it up, I grabbed the whole food processor and carried it around the house so everyone could try it. It’s unbelievably similar to the (junky) original but made with a few simple ingredients - toasted nuts, maple syrup, coco powder, vanilla, salt, plant milk, coconut oil. No recipe just yet because I didn’t measure anything and at one point I was sure this was a fail (omg it looked so bad) but hang in there and I’ll have it for you soon (just ordered a 2lb bag of hazelnuts on Amazon). Despite all the bad in the world, at least we can have vegan hazelnut chocolate toast, right?! #livecleankitchen #toast #vegannutella #homemadenutella #hazelnutspread #veganhazelnutspread #chocolate #berries #breakfast #stuffontoast (at California)

These are so good! They are gluten free, vegan and still not that healthy. Oh well, they’re delicious! You can substitute honey for powdered sugar if you want. And also, you can replace butter for coconut oil and milk for almond milk if you want as well.

RECIPE:

Ingredients:

Filling-
1-2 tablespoons honey (to taste)
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
¼ cup hazelnuts
¼ cup dark chocolate chips (Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods brands are vegan)
1/8 cup plain almond milk, luke warm temperature

Shell-
1 cup all natural creamy peanut butter
½ cup unrefined extra virgin coconut oil
¼ cup powdered sugar (more to taste)
Sea salt for topping

Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Spread out hazelnuts on a baking tray and place in oven for about 10-12 minutes or until slightly toasted. Baking them too long will make them bitter. Then try to peel off as much of the skin from the hazelnuts as possible, some skin will remain.

3. Grind the hazelnuts to a fine powder. Then add the honey, salt and vegetable oil and grind/mix again. Heat the chocolate in the microwave in 10 second pulses, mixing after each pulse until it’s melted. Then mix the chocolate into the hazelnut mixture until creamy. Add in the milk last and stir well. Then refrigerate for about 1 hour or longer to let it stiffen (more milk makes it more liquid, less milk makes it more solid- so choose how much you want to add based on how runny you want your chocolate hazelnut spread to be).

4. Heat coconut oil in a medium pan on low heat. Once melted, add in the peanut butter and mix until creamy. Sift in the powdered sugar (or honey if preferred) gradually. Add in more to taste.

5. In a normal sized muffin pan with cupcake liners, place about 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons of peanut butter in each liner (I found using a ziplock bag with a cut tip easiest to pour the peanut butter into the liner vs using a tablespoon). Then place in the freezer for 10 minutes.

6. Place hazelnut spread in a ziplock back and put about 1 to 1 and ½ teaspoons in each liner (only in the centers, leaving the edges empty if possible).

7. Then put the rest of the peanut butter mixture in a ziplock back and place in each liner until it’s halfway full. Put it back in the freezer for about 10 minutes.

8. Sprinkle tops with some sea salt and serve. If not eaten within 10 minutes, they will start melting a bit. Keep refrigerated until its time to serve.

Enjoy!

Homemade Nutella.

That’s right, I said it. Homemade Nutella! I first thought of this after experimenting with Almond Butter* a few weeks back. Unlike store-bought Nutella, this chocolate-hazelnut butter contains zero artificial flavors, zero milk, and zero palm oil, but it is Super easy to make, and 100% delicious! Total time involved is maybe 20 minutes, and there is very little clean-up (just your food processor). I didn’t use a recipe for this one, so the amounts listed are going to be approximations… You can tweak it to the texture/flavor you want.

I started out with a taste-test: Raw vs. Dry Roasted organic hazelnuts. Um. Definitely Dry Roasted. No contest.  So…like the almond butter, you want to throw those in your food processor until they start to ball up. I used one full bag of Organic Dry Roasted Hazelnuts from Trader Joe’s. Once they were sufficiently ground up, I added 3-4 tablespoons of organic cocoa powder and the same amount of coconut oil, one tablespoon of vanilla, and agave to taste. Blend together until smooth and evenly mixed, and voila! Sweet, nutty, chocolately goodness! Scroll down to see step-by-step photos.

The starting ingredients (yes that’s my dog in the background).

Hazelnuts looking pretty. I started out with about half the bag, but ended up adding all of them into the mix eventually.
