Gerard praticamente não havia pisado no quarto nenhuma vez durante o dia todo depois que chegou a auradon prep sozinho naquele dia, afinal o orgulho de Gaston era grande demais para que ele aceitasse sair da ilha apenas durante o dia do baile. Ele passou o dia explorando cantos da escola após o tour e contrabandeando os barris de bebida solicitados por JR para sua festinha, usou o quarto apenas para tomar banho e se arrumar antes de ir para o baile, quando o mesmo estava acabando ele já voltou aos seus tramites no dormitório do irmão e do príncipe do reino. Se ele fosse tão mauricinho quanto falavam, teriam problemas com certeza.
Por sorte o filho dos reis de Auradon não esteve presente, dessa forma a comemoração sorrateira correu bem e ao fim de tudo, passado das 04h da manhã, o homem finalmente entrou mais uma vez em seu próprio quarto ao qual dividia com mais alguém que ainda não tivera o desprazer de conhecer, mas sabia que era algum mocinho, só pelas coisas já presentes no ambiente. O loiro sem qualquer tentativa de silêncio ou discrição, entrou pelas portas fechando-as com um baque não tão leve porém não forte o bastante para ecoar pelo corredor vazio da ala masculina, ligou a luz do abajur ao lado de sua cama e se encaminhou até a pilha de malas que ainda estavam espalhadas pelos moveis de centro e o seu lado do quarto, arremessou suas vestes para qualquer canto enquanto procurava pela bagunça uma troca de cuecas para tomar uma ducha.
