Rock Hyrax (Procavia capensis) habitats are diverse, spanning from deserts to rainforests and from mountainous peaks to savannas. It weighs in at 4 to 13 pounds, with a body length of 12 to 23 inches and a shoulder height of 8 to 12 inches. These animals live in colonies with a complex social structure with clear hierarchies. Its diet primarily consists of grasses, fruits, leaves, and bark. Habitat Rocky outcrops and cliffs in Africa and the Middle East.

Fun fact: Despite their resemblance to rodents, they are more closely related to elephants and manatees.

Okay, I have to admit I’m showing off a bit. When I mentioned a band, it wasn’t just any band. Get ready, everyone! Lila managed to book none other than the world-famous frog boy band, Los Cantarraneros, just for the three of us. They were actually supposed to have a day off on their world tour, but as I’ve said before, Lila is the best fairy and can make anything happen.

Here’s a photo from the front row during their gig, as they sang their hit song “I Love You to the End of the Pond and Back!”

Isn’t she beautiful? And the best fairy ever! But because she’s always so busy, we rarely get to see each other. That makes tonight even more special. We have so much to catch up on.

Hidden Discovery

So, my dear friends, I’m sorry it took so long, but it took a while for us to find what Rufus was so eager to show me. He’s getting old and forgetful :)

 But he doesn’t like hearing that and always gets a bit grumpy when I say it, so… Psst!

Anyway, the long search was worth it. Rufus showed me the entrance to an old forgotten building, surrounded by a park with plant-covered statues. I would have loved to take a peek inside, but we were already running late. We’ll definitely explore it on our way back.
