今回のコンサートは、私たちのジェネレーションを担当してくださった
演出監督さんと振付師さんと一緒にやります
今回のコンサートの目的は、第2のジェネレーションを作ってみよう
ミーティングの時もステージのデザイン、LED、リフトみたいなものも
演出監督さんとメンバーたちと話し合って
THE Bだと思って喜んでくれそうなものたちを準備中／©
NouerAはダンスメドレーのためにスタイリッシュで「trigger」を選んだんだけど、その理由は彼らがその曲を本当に好きだからで、振り付けが彼らのスタイルにぴったりだからなんだって。あと、「あの」エリックのファンカムで彼がほとんど上を着てないやつを見たって言ってて、今日朝にtriggerを検索したらまたその動画がアルゴリズムで出てきてさ😭😭／©
WOAH エリックが言ってたんだけど、The Boyzが今日コンサートのVCRを撮影したんだって。カメラに映った瞬間、「かっこいい」みたいなざわめきが聞こえてきて、彼は誇らしげな気分になったんだって。VCRがかっこよくなるって言ってたから、コンサートでチェックできるよ 🙌🏽🙌🏽／©

Ariel, Eric, Grimsby and some sailors are on the beach before setting sail with a ship
Eric: *looks at the sky, trying to predict the weather* “Guys, I think it’s about to ra-”
Sailors: *suddenly remember when Eric was on the ship and was talking about love at first sight, comparing it to being struck by lightning, and right after that a storm started*
Also the sailors: *look at each other* *start panicking and doing superstitious rituals to send away the bad luck*
Sailor A: “Guys, does anyone have an object made of iron? I need to touch some iron, it’s urgent!”
Sailor B: *collects some sea water in a bucket and throws it behind him*
Sailor C: *completely wet* *to sailor B* “Hey, what the hell are you thinking? Look at me!”
Sailor B: “I’m sorry, but I had to throw some salt over my shoulder to ward off bad luck. I didn’t have any salt, so I thought I’d throw seawater, instead, because there’s also salt in it!”
Also sailor B: *is completely panicked and doesn’t care that sailor C is wet* “Do you think it could still work?”
Sailor C: *eyeroll*
Sailor D: *frantically fingering his jacket* “Has anyone seen my lucky red horn? Oh, no, no, no, I can’t have lost it!”
Sailor E: *kneeling before Ariel* “Please, Your Highness, ask your father not to raise a storm!”
Ariel: *completely amazed, she doesn’t understand anything of what’s happening* “…”
Sailor F and G: *addressing two random passersby* “Hey, you two, what part of the kingdom are you from, exactly?”
Dude A: “I’m from Sicily”
Dude B: “I’m from Calabria”
Sailor F and G: *almost don’t even give them time to finish speaking* “Quick, tell us, do you have any special superstitious rituals in your areas?”
Eric: *shrugs and turns to Grimsby, not understanding why the sailors have started behaving like this*
Grimsby: *sarcastically* “You know, Eric, maybe they think you bring bad luck”
Eric: “Oh, come on! What did I say? I just said I think it’s going to ra-”
*starts raining*
Eric: *shrugs, scratches the back of his neck and smiles, embarrassed* “Uhm, well… it could be worse”
*STARTS HAILING*
Sailors: *look at Eric, angry*
Eric: “…”
Grimsby: *facepalm*
Ariel: *tries to not giggle, but fails*
Eric: *throws up his arms, exasperated* “OH, COME ON, KING TRITON, GIVE ME A BIT OF REST, PLEASE!”
*THUNDER*
Eric: *completely speechless*
Ariel: *starts laughing out loud*

Note: Eric is obviously an experienced sailor, and I don’t think he’d take the weather so lightly, especially if he knew he was about to set sail on a ship, but I’ve always wondered if some of the sailors started to think he was bad luck, since as soon as he described love at first sight, comparing it to being struck by lightning, a storm started, in the 1989 movie. I obviously don’t think the sailors would disrespect him like that—but I also think they’re very superstitious, spending a lot of time at sea— and obviously I don’t think Eric would dare address King Triton in that way. For all these reasons, I don’t consider this scene a headcanon, but it still makes me laugh, so I decided to post it here.

Carlotta: *sighs* “Unfortunately, they had a fight.”
Grimsby: *raises an eyebrow, even more confused* “Then, why are they still holding hands?”
Carlotta: *shrugs* “They get sad when they fight.”

Eric: *wakes up from a nap* *opens his eyes wide* “Where am I? What happened? Did I die?”
Also Eric: *sees Ariel sleeping peacefully next to him and gasps* “Oh, my God, yes! I died and I’m in heaven! What have I done to deserve such joy?”
Grimsby: *knocks on the door* “Uh, Eric, are you awake?”
Eric: *yawns, still tired* “Y-yes…?”
Grimsby: “Could you come over here, please? You have a huge pile of documents to sign, then you have your weekly meeting with parliament, and you also have to receive three different delegations from foreign countries…”
Eric: *fully awake* “Oh, God, no, this isn’t heaven. THIS IS HELL”

The idea for this little scene isn’t mine; it was inspired by the Instagram page “the_last_nephilim” (an Italian page about Shadowhunters, my favorite book series). I simply adapted it to Ariel and Eric, changing some words and some dialogue lines. Hope you like it!
Ariel: *to the other Disney Princesses* “Girls, Eric is too tall, and when I want to kiss him I always have to stand on tiptoe. Any advice?”
Rapunzel: “Pull his shirt collar.”
Jasmine: “Knee him in the stomach or a little lower.”
Belle: *is reading a book, but suddenly stops to give Jasmine a shocked look, like: “OMG, girl, what? Is Aladdin ok?”*
Eric: *suddenly entering the room, a little worried* “Uhm, Ariel… couldn’t you just ask me to bend down a bit?”
