This is just junk I think would be in the game if John was a real character. LM = Little Mac. TD = Title Defense. This was inspired by Star Mika from the last ask. (❗️Very long post❗️)
[[MORE]]Stance: Switch Stance.
Moves:
Jab left: John throws a left-handed jab towards LM. Can be blocked high or dodged. Indicated by a head tilt to the left.
Jab right: The same as the left-handed jab but with his right hand. Indicated by a head tilt to the right.
Right Hook: John does a right-handed hook. Can only be dodged. Usually done after a jab. Indicated by a stance switch/shoulder roll.
Uppercut: The move is indicated by John tilting his chin upward before performing the move. This is an opportunity for LM to throw in a star punch. If he doesn’t then it can only be dodged.
Signature move, Tan Yer Hide: This is where John strings together a right or left jab, then two crosses, and finally an uppercut. Before this move is used John playfully says “Ya better watch yer head, kid!”
Signature move, Cow Punchin’: This move is only seen in TD mode. LM has to dodge all four moves that John does but all of these moves are random. Thankfully, these are all telegraphed moves. This move is telegraphed by John saying “It looks like it’s wranglin’ time!”.
Intro theme: The Wild White Yonder (West of Loathing)
Punch-Out theme: The normal theme but instead played with an acoustic guitar and a pair of silver spoons.
Knockdown: John will stumble back, hit the ropes, then fall forward. If he gets back up then he’ll keep his head down, adjust his hat, then look back up before getting back into the fight.
TKO: John will fly backwards as his hat is knocked off his head. He’ll turn around just as his face is about to be shown before falling over onto his stomach, his hat gently landing next to him.
Agro: The only way to Agro John is to fling his hat away and show his face, similarly to Don and his toupee. This will result in John’s next move always being his signature move.
Entry: John will wave to the crowd before focusing on LM. He’ll cheerfully say “Well, isn’t this gonna be one hell of a fight?”
Entry TD: John tips his hat to LM, muttering “Well, it’s time for ya to mosey on outta here. I’ve a belt to win.” all will a determined but still smug smile on his face.
Victory: John faces the crowd, waving his arms while cheerfully hollering. He’ll then go over to LM and ask “Heh, you alright there?”
Victory TD: John puts the belt on and gives a solitary wave to the crowd before crouching down next to LM and saying “Yer plenty good at fightin’. You sure ya don’t wanna try cow wranglin’?”.
Intermission 1: John looks around the arena, leaning back on his chair with his arms behind his head.
Intermission 2: John has his hat pulled down over his eyes and his head resting against the peg (or whatever it’s called) in his corner.

“Ya know, I’m rather impressed with ya.”
Trivia:
John is from a ranch in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
He’s watched a bunch of westerns as a kid and is obsessed with the role of mysterious but honor-bound cowboy.
He got into boxing due to his parents oftentimes watching matches from the WVBA.
John is a great cook and baker, making food for those he likes the most.
He’s friends with Piston Hondo, Bear Hugger, Disco Kid, and Soda Popinski. He’s trying to befriend Super Macho Man, Bald Bull, Aran Ryan, Great Tiger, and Von Kaiser.
Huh, another honest boxer I see! Well, here’s some advice; it ain’t how ya fight. It’s what yer fightin’ for! If ya keep that in mind you’ll never lose. -🌵
(The person behind the blog here! I feel like they’d meet in the ring and John, seeing a bit of himself in the kid, would try going easy on her at first but eventually go all out upon realizing that she’s pretty tough too. I think that he’d like Mika and would be proud of her and how far she’s come in the boxing world. I think if she ever needed any help John would be there to back her up and give advice.)
I’m just fine, thank ya for askin’ me! Life in the WVBA can be hard at times but that’s what makes it fun, ya know what I mean?

All I need right now is a cowboy to pick me up in his black pickup truck and drive all night on the highway
Stopping at gas stations for snacks and drinks

I had an idea for Raggedy OCs named Raggedy Pecos (inspired by Pecos Bill and Buffalo Bill Cody) and Raggedy Oakley (inspired by Annie Oakley) with their white cremello horse/steed, Sunflower.
So I contacted ChickenWeirdo on DA for a request of these characters seen above.
I thought they looked adorable! What do you think about these cowpoke Ragdolls? Let me know, thanks!
