I’m half an hour into Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis and so far my thoughts:
It’s an easy film to watch but gosh the protagonist just doesn’t seem to understand that he is “living” in the “world”, so it just makes the character really hard to empathise, or more like, off-putting, and that makes the whole poetic element just funny

Highland Golf Course - Cosmopolis, WA
Today we headed south of Ocean Shores to play a round of golf at Highland Golf Course. We had a bit of trouble finding it following the Google Map directions (and we have been here before!), but we finally managed to figure it out. Fees were $30 to walk 18. The fairways were bumpy and slanted, we had to really pay attention where we were walking to avoid turning our ankles on a few of the holes! The greens were smooth, but a bit torn up on several of the holes. We did have a gorgeous day and it is a pretty tree-lined course. We gave it a 6 out of 10 stars - if you are in the area, you should definitely go play this course - the price is right and it will give you a break from the ocean!

A friend and I just finished marathoning all of David Cronenberg’s films in an event we called David Cronenberg’s Wet Hot Canadian Film Club and I’m obviously NOT an artist but I wanted to commemorate it with a tshirt and I don’t hate how it came out.
Features characters from all of the films Cronenberg both directed and wrote (bc space) except for Fast Company, which we pretend doesn’t exist.
