Repost from @_being.a.conservative.teen_ – My mom just told me I had too many standards and morals because I believe in traditional marriage (such as getting married at around 25, having children, having a house together, being with that person for the rest of your life) and I was telling her I purely believe in only monogamy and not frequently sleeping with person to person. And she says everyone is “evolving” and I’m like no everyone is literally DEVOLVING. My grandparents have been married 60 years, they are 80, have four kids and still love eachother and take care of eachother, that is beautiful. Now just look at the new generations, I mean look at most teenagers now, look at the music industry for example, promoting men to have “hoes” and cheat. Like why are a lot of people in my generation and some older generations becoming so uncommitted and unfaithful?
