I think the relationship between combiner limb components are severely underrated. I once saw a post discussing how someone else saw a post (postception) about how someone thinks that, as Devastator’s arms, Bonecrusher and Scavenger should fit together perfectly and I think that’s beautiful

unfortunately this is primarily me pushing my ScavCrusher and FirstBlades agenda but I do think more people should ponder this concept

wanted to redesign dead end’s head cuz i didn’t like the previous one

back in highschool one classmate asked us if we liked emo and i said “yeah i like mcr :D” their reply was “that’s not really emo but ok i guess…” and i think dead end would be that kinda person XD

i am close to being done with this semester and i’m interested in making more combiners into mochis so uh.

I find it… interesting that so many people do not consider combiners (Devs, Menasor, Superion, etc) as their own people. It is hinted and implied in their bios (Budiansky, Dreamwave, Wings Universe, the like) and even in comic appearances and some shows, that they are their own entity, but the amount of people who actually see them as separate is low.

Only one combiner really isn’t and that is Ruination, whose torso component (Mega Octane) controls his every decision.

I guess I just don’t get the general belief of “oh, it’s all the components agreeing to make the combiner function” when… it isn’t?

Components can negatively impact a combiner (Menasor), to the point of making him relatively ineffective beyond total destruction, just as a combiner can completely drown out their components because they want to fully be an individual with no outside influences (Superion).
