The Miami Film Festival has announced its lineup for the 43rd edition of the international cinematic event, running April 9-19 in Miami. The festival will feature 40 world premieres, 2 international premieres, 11 North American premieres, and 5 U.S. premieres in a program of over 160 narratives, documentaries, and shorts. The festival will honor several actors and filmmakers, including Adam Scott, Bob Odenkirk, Danielle Brooks, Lili Reinhart, and Matt Bomer.

Today’s sketch is about a battle between two knights on a Chessboard. These two knights enjoy the game which is the lesson of Chess, it should be fun. That doesn’t mean you can’t learn something like strategy and perseverance, but it should be fun. Life should be fun too, that doesn’t mean reckless, dangerous, or excessive, but fun.
The greatest Christians I’ve ever known, the greatest Ministers and servants, were fun. Fun doesn’t mean there won’t be checks and balances, yes I couldn’t resist the pun. Yet it does mean that there is joy in the journey, not just the destination. There’s a verse in Luke 10:21 where it says Jesus rejoiced, and the Greek word can literally mean leap. Yes our Savior knew sorrow, but He also spoke the worlds into existence, inventing joy, happiness, and laughter. Don’t simply go through the motions, do so with joy.
