So i got bored a couple days ago. Made a sketch

Sketch made me angry. So it got put in time out.
Today, I come back to it thinking I’ll just see what I was mad about.

Fixed it up.
…And accidently finished it

Enjoy Kore with the Warners.
(Posting on Fb, insta, tiktok)
New godly oc added to the group

Another unnamed one- still need names for these ocs, the only named one is selene

Green was Andy’s favorite color. He’s super-fast and loves the fast stuff too.
Midnight Strangers designs versus normal designs! Midnight Strangers by @seriouslycalamitous! Go check it out if you haven’t, it seriously amazing!
First up, Grian!

Don’t mind normal Grian being a little terrifying.
Next is Scar!

Normal Scar: *Asking all sorts of questions about the MS universe.*
MS Scar: *Happily answering them*
More below the cut, but be warned it contains spoilers up the chapter 13!(Kinda, I don’t really know if it counts, definitely for chapter 6!)
[[MORE]]Of course, we have the wonderful Jimmy.

MS Jimmy: *Ranting about MS Grian calling him Timmy despite knowing his real name.*
Normal Jimmy(In mind): “Even in another universe, we can’t escape it.”
Next up is the queen, Lizzie!

Normal Lizzie: *Talking about Joel*
MS Lizzie: *Happily listening*
Finally moving onto the heroes, we have Scott! (I did both Scott and Scottie(Scott when she’s on her girl days) as I couldn’t decide which to do)

Scott(ie): “Did you really think that plan would work? Those three are way too stubborn for that.”
MS Scott: *Not really listening.*
And now we have the Girlboss, Pearl!

Normal Pearl: “Why did you think it was a good idea to mess with one of the strongest people in the world?!”(Talking about Grian)
MS Pearl: *Taking it, knows she messed up*(Thinks normal Pearl’s talking about MS Scar)
And the professional gaslighter, Cleo!

MS Cleo: “I’m sorry, but are you…”
Normal Cleo: “A zombie? Technically a hybrid but yes.”
And last but certainly not least, we have Joel! :D

Normal Joel: “You’re katanas are so cool!”
MS Joel: “Thank mate!”

I did a lil art challenge for fun! I was given a colour palette and an aesthetic to make a character out of >:]

Also redid the reference sheets for the other three, since they needed updating (and I fear OC favouritism)
[[MORE]]There’s a lot that can be said about these refs, even though on the surface they’re fairly simple to make.
Dusk and Anchor’s reference sheets were made before the Principe drawing, so I didn’t have the forbidden knowledge needed to consider whether or not I should have given Dusk hips. On the topic of the Principe drawing, it’s pretty much the same pose as Dusk’s. I’ve decided to make it a habit of keeping the wireframes in each drawing, so if I want to reuse it for whatever reason it can be pulled directly. Very convenient for drawings that I don’t really want to put a lot of effort into.
The posing for Dusk was one made with not a whole lot of thought - I wanted to, with one image, convey the surface of her character - confident, sassy, and one smug fella. The weird thing was drawing it from the back - with the way I positioned the arms, it felt weirdly contorted. This is a theme - Powder Keg’s pose was fairly simple, and much of his back is covered by his cloak anyways, but the other three gave me much more trouble.
Dusk’s eyes were the second challenge. With the head angled up, the first attempt made it look like she was looking at, like, a piece of hair that’s sticking out weirdly on your head or something. As it turns out, curving out the top corners of the eyes seems to somewhat remedy this. Not hugely convinced by it, but it works.
I’ve decided to give everyone reference sheet a ‘little guy’ drawing to represent an aspect of their design that isn’t immediately evident with the one pose. I couldn’t think of one for Dusk, so I just let her put on her coat. I did make the catastrophic error of depicting it as long-sleeve not short sleeve, but literally who cares. Honestly though, Dusk’s 'little guy’ works the least well out of the four. It does highlight some honestly baffling design decisions I’ve made, but I can’t be bothered changing them (especially right after Powder Keg’s overhaul) so it’s probably here to stay for a while.
As of recently, since I’ve been somewhat active in Artfight’s DTPAY minigame, I’ve noticed that a lot of people seem to miss that Anchor has shoulder pads now, so this was my opportunity to fix that. There’s not a whole lot to say about his reference sheet, to be honest. The shield looks like it was just put on his back with no rhyme or reason (and since the straps of the shield go the opposite way of his satchel strap I couldn’t use them as a means of mounting), and I’ve just largely accepted that the way he holds his shield on his back is 'he just does’. I’ve also made his armour shiny, so there’s that too.
Trashcan’s reference sheet pose is pretty much the exact same as his previous one. Since these reference sheets are meant to replace the current ones, I saw no problem with using the same pose, since he’s now the only character who hasn’t undergone some kind of overhaul (Dusk’s was visual design, Anchor’s was character design, and Powder Keg had both). His old reference sheet had the least amount of problems, but the colour 'palette’ was still an illegible eyesore, so it was still good to redo his.
I’ve made the decision to remove the texture on his glove. Partially because I think it’s worth less than the effort required to add it, but mostly because I can’t find the colour I used for the texture. His 'little guy’ drawing has him topless for no other reason than I needed an excuse to have him topless.
I’m soooooo tired of people acting like anyone who draws chubby/fat characters is making f3tish content… get a grip.

Life can be tough sometimes. So, I shall present to you, fellow viewer, these 3 drawings that are colorful and full of whimsy.
Maybe you could do something that would make your inner child happy today?
I know people on here really like my SCP art, but I haven’t really done anything with SCP recently. So, maybe take this cat as a sorry for no content??
For my Cat Shelter AU, obvi.

He’s going to show up chapter 10 of the fanfiction that goes along with this, and I am trying to update that.
also,

He is red for a wonderful reason
I’ve been working on some short story versions of Northbound/Northwards for a workshop. I might post both versions here once I finish revising the second one. I’ve also come up with a few character ideas for other prisoners over the last month or two, so I thought I might as well share them here. Not a complete list, and I don’t really have a visual ideas for them yet.
A former cop who ended up in prison after being framed on drug charges. He was framed by his fellow officers after reporting on the racism and unethical behavior of the officers in his precinct. I myself am staunchly ACAB, and his story directly tackles the “not all cops” position.
This one is mostly based on the joke in Clone High season 1’s film festival episode where Abe says Mother Theresa is doing her slasher sex romp (paraphrasing). She’s a lesbian cult leader doing freaky sex stuff and murder.
A group of Black Panthers arrested for lawful demonstration that Misty briefly joins (this entire storyline will be proofread by sensitivity readers) and when the leads break out of prison, they leave behind the information with them. Misty’s joining the Panthers will not cause friction with the main group, they won’t separate on bad terms or anything.
Graphic designer struggling for work accepts a job as a freelancer for the government/evil political entity. Once the work goes up and the checks get cashed, they vandalized and removed their artwork in the dark of the night. I was thinking one night if it was possible for me to work for objectively evil entities and have a way to keep a clean conscience, like all of my local representatives are Republican liars.
Partially inspired by The Witness; the only episode of Love Death and Robots I actually liked, and Night Call; a great movie about a locksmith accidentally getting involved in organized crime. She was in witness protection (I love the word witness) after being a rat in the mafia, but the mob found her anyway. She purposefully lands in prison, thinking it’s the most safe place to be.
A mail-order bride smuggler. I don’t have much detail on this one. He may just be a complete side character, or if I am able to find enough story for a dedicated episode, it’ll be about the industry of mail order brides or smuggling.
I got this idea after seeing a video about fictional serial killers in crime shows, who have a cool name and take weird interesting trophies from there victims. That was my only note, so I’m kind of coming up with it while writing. I’m leaning towards The Carpenter, a serial killer who takes the fingernails and toenails (get it) from his victim, along with a specific murder technique I haven’t thought too hard about.
If I go the other route with a female killer (or I do both to show the difference between male and female killers), the Seamstress removes the tunnels inside a person’s body, or dethreads her victim’s clothing and takes however much amount. I don’t know, there’s a lot of possibilities for this single idea.
This actually came from a discussion in my horror writing class while we were reading Room by Emma Donahughe, in regards to their captor building a weird shed with a skylight in his backyard. I made a joke about the guy being thwarted by a nosy HOA Karen. (I think that’s how it went, it was a while ago) That was actually a good idea, someone mentioned writing their short story for the class about it. This episode would be told from her perspective to really nail the effect.
Those are all I have so far, I may not need more. I’m not actually sure how long this arc should or would be. On top of the side characters, our main 6 need individual episodes of focus and backstory. I might actually post Northbound version 1 tomorrow if I remember.
First post in a long time~
My only drawing of Mandela and I turned him into a photocard
I need to pick this back up, I need to develop a story past ideas and themes
