First canvas painting! With some 3D elements :3

Nope.
Acrylic on canvas. A replacement protest-sign for signs I am missing now. All of my other ones got incidentally-stolen because they were in a bag in the back of my car and my car got stolen. I do not know if I will ever get them - or my car - back. I’ve been pretty PO'ed this week.
I needed something for No Kings III on March 28th if I am able to attend (I think I will with the household-ride arrangement). That may actually depend more on my recovery from minor surgery earlier in the week. Also for future-protests.

I Gave Nature a Big “Like” Today! (Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore) by Mark Stevens

I Gave Nature a Big “Like” Today!
Nothing fancy, just a thumbs up
It added some sunshine to my day
And likely many others
You might say it wasn’t a great start
Overcast skies and a missed chance to visit an island
But the “pictures” along the cliff walls
Blue waters of Lake Superior
Was truly a joy
Left me with a smile and a thought to explore more!
Another work of short poetry or prose to complement the image captured one afternoon while enjoying views on a cruise of Lake Superior along the shores of Upper Michigan. This is located in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. In composing this image, I took advantage of the arch present with the location depicted as Lover’s Leap. I liked the idea of having the shoreline and cliff walls on one side of the image with the waters of Lake Superior on the other. The blue skies and clouds would be that color contrast to complement the earth-tones along the shoreline of the image.
every time I open canvas I feel like a medieval peasant being summoned by the king
Canva introduced a new feature that separates flat image files and AI-generated visuals into layered, fully editable designs. The Magic Layers tool is launching in public beta today in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, allowing design components like objects, text boxes, and other graphics to be selected individually while preserving the original layout.
