I’m half Canadian half American and my logic is that I’m actually half Canadian but ¾ American because the way I’m counting it is that one of my parents parent is a Canadian citizen and therefore I’m half Canadian but three of my grandparents are (non-naturalized) American citizens so therefore I’m ¾ American and obviously I can’t be 5/4 so I decided that my geography knowledge is good enough to make me 25% less American than I otherwise would be.
