I still think it’s a bit of a shame that we never really learned anything about the Alphaverse in Bayonetta 3 just that Singularity and the Homunculi were born there and that’s where the story began and nothing else

Im so sureee that this world consisted only of badass highly evolved Buddhist/Hindu people and the idea itself sounds sooo interesting especially the government in this world. I picture them, like the Homunculi, wearing only white, blue, and turquoise (similar to the concept art for Singularity) wearing masks shaped like Shishi (lions) or other gods/demons and being one of the most highly evolved among all the other dimensions. I also imagine that the Bayonetta variant in this world had an Asura’s Wrath style with her main demon being Hekatoncheir, and her hair formed into four arms for attacking

I’d really love to expand on this worldbuilding so much more but for years now I’ve realized how difficult it actually is to read about demonology, angelology, Buddhism, or similar stories and mythologies in general especially in book form, almost no chance or Im just unlucky

I mean I love the idea that the four cardinal virtues represent the four archangels and that Aesir created and raised Adam and Eve😭[I mean… it’s said that Eve was created from Adam’s rib but hear me outtt What if Aesir sacrificed a part or body part of himself to create them both? Omg]

Omg i just realized that most punishments and blessings by god can be attributed to Loptr and Loki omfg. I blame Loptr for the flood and fall of Babel. Now i’m picturing Loki working with Noah to build the ark while Loptr tries to figure out how to flood the earth.

Thinking about scale and height for Infernal Demon ocs is fun cause Itzpapalotl is far bigger than even Queen Butterflies, with them only getting up to her heel… and the Legion of Colina is still bigger than her. and Queen Sheba is bigger than all of them combined. The Queen Sheba we see in bayo 1 is a minuscule version of her. In my oc lore, Queen Sheba is nigh endless; taking visual inspiration from hindu deities with hundreds of arms; with her arms being so gigantic that it becomes the sky, with her jewelry reflecting light during the day so much that it becomes a unifying color during the day, but at night, the “stars” are actually her silver jewelry managing to sparkle, and all the moons present in the sky are merely embedded into her rings and bracelets. Infernals say that the comets in the sky are actually her nails glittering as she twists her arms around her realm.

There is an actual sky beyond Sheba’s arms but it’s more like a prison for traitors to Inferno where they get burned and frozen for eternity. My oc, The Constellation of Futility/Hanni is up there. Lol. Excerpt from his infernal entry:

A wimpish demon who regrets rebelling against heaven, Hanni attempted to climb out of hell by talking hold of stars nestled within the Infernal Sky. However, instead of reaching paradise, he came to learn that the sky is nothing but a net holding all of hell’s evils within it; and the stars are it’s weights. Now entangled within the web of stars, his body is forever engulfed in star fire that he foolishly believes will help burn away his sins. Many of hell’s navigators use his forever burning body as Inferno’s version of the North Star.

Though to be honest, his entry was written before i got to thinking about Queen Sheba is it may be a little outdated but the essence is still the same; demons who regret rebelling leads to them being imprisoned in the sky, away from Queen Sheba’s embrace that covers all of Inferno.

I might be totally exaggerating… but when it comes to my favorite games I find that I notice more little details or little unnecessary things that nobody pays attention to or doesn’t really need to pay attention to bc you don’t need to. Especially in Bayonetta I’ve saved so many clips… so here are one of them and lil yapping from me too

[A very rare Attack from Fortitudo? I really like to bully some bosses especially the cardinal virtues and while I did that though I somehow triggered a attack from Fortitudo that I’ve never seen before?? Maybe I’ve just been unlucky but I tried for 10 minutes to get him to use the same attack again and he never did so I guess it’s kinda rare? And I wanted to try if he really grabs you or you likely just get damage]

[If you don’t use the climax button on Sapientia and the timer runs out Sapientia will look at you for about 5-10 sec without attacking you then he jumps back in the water, he looks so dissapointed that you didn’t used the climax button😭]

[When you use witchwalk and trip an Angel to the ground you can bound them to a hair leash and can carry them]

[Enemies in Bayonetta 3 like the Beloved and Cumulonimbus can grab your Demons if they are out enough and can kill them but enemies like the Opacus(the one in the gif) and Asperatus have grab animations too, never knew that]

[What I really like about Bayonetta is that besides that the antagonists aren’t that big fleshed out sadly (especially Singularity) do still have their little sassy moments that can stay in mind, Balder using his feather to comb through his hair(My absolute DIVA🙏🙏) and Singularity who wipes away the ‘dirt’ where you tried to attack him like-I’m sorry I touched you there Girl

Puca and Loptr have their little moments too but I didn’t find a clip of them on my switch, the antagonists of Bayonetta are really one of my fav they’re unique and thats why I love them all so muchhh]

How did they make Cereza’s beehive look so elegant… every time i draw it i feel like i’m putting a corndog wrapped in hair on her head stick first.

The thought that there were nights when Father Balder became somewhat like the old ‘Balder’ again and had freed himself from Loptr’s corruption for a short time but had nevertheless shut himself off from everyone else… During these nights he mourned for Rosa and Cereza and how sorry he was for having committed such terrible deeds and hurting everyone who crossed his path(and that it’s his fault that the witch hunts started) He also wanted to apologize to Jeanne for brainwashing her and doing terrible things to her knowing how much Jeanne liked his daughter but he could never apologize because by then he was once again the Balder who wanted to resurrect the Creator Jubileus…

He tried to fight the corruption but after a few hours the poison of evil had clouded his mind again

While Balder is having his little breakdown I can well imagine that Loptr is constantly yapping the most unnecessary things in his head😭 which only made Balder even more desperate and even tried as he had done in Bayo 2 to die with Loptr so that everything would end but always failed…

Jeanne sometimes saw Balder in this state but it was only in Bayo 2 that she understood why and felt somewhat guilty for never saving Balder or never knew what was going on

I can well imagine that before or after Bayo Origins Jeanne made it her mission to find Balder because she knew how much Cereza wanted to see and get to know her parents. She met him secretly in the Lumen Sage exile and just as she promised Rosa that she would protect Cereza she also made the same promise to Balder and never broke it…these two would be so proud of their two witches
