What god did you piss off to cause this?⁠ ⁠ This is no ordinary storm! Salty sailors might have experience with many perils of the high seas, but this one might baffle even the scurviest seadog. Is the lightning shooting out from the swirling depths, or shooting into it? And why does it feel, even every bit of flotsam nearby is being drawn into it, that something appears to be emerging from the heart of this vortex? Fully animated and available in two additional versions, with a ship and its tattered sails being drawn ever closer to the center of the storm, and another festooned with tentacles, this map clearly indicates: Here Be Monsters!⁠ ⁠

The Seven Stars docked in Saltend.

Late at night The Seven Stars, docked in Netter’s Wharf, awaits a delivery for further within the city. Most of the Holy Vigils have left their post on the boat in order to escort the delivery safely. However, the outfit known as the Three Fingers have hired a motley crew to steal something else that awaits on the ship.

Torn from corporeal form and cursed to wander the desolate Salt Hives for their ancient atrocities, Aethera’s Vaporem people are wracked by conflict. Their cultural strife mirroring their individual internal torment, they roam the land manifesting as water vapor, desperate to solidify. Only gaining physical form by syphoning water from the living, they are shunned by mortal races as they appear aquatically vampiric. Quandrix is Strixhaven’s college of numeromancy, where magic begins with a pattern and ends with a proof. Its mages study fractals, symmetries, and the hidden equations that shape wind, growth, and gravity. Some see mathematics as invention, others as revelation—but all agree that numbers are alive with possibility. From delicate, spiraling constructs to towering fractal beasts scaled by careful calculation, Quandrix spellcraft turns theory into terrain. Here, “Math is Magic” isn’t a motto. Catwalk

What is this, some kind of walk for cats? Deep in the beating heart of a factory, the ventilation ducts of a highly protected research installation, or the bowels of some massive helicarrier, these passages and their (required) safety railings protect any who would walk upon them from the precipitous drop down below. Hopefully no-one happens to slip, or get pushed off! Fully animated and available in a chaotic variant where things aren’t going quite so well, and one where a red alert has been triggered, perhaps by a band of careless infiltrators, this map will have your players doing their little turn on the catwalk!⁠

I don’t post any of my battlemap stuff here at all, I only sometimes post NPC images from one player group’s campaign. I’ve been contemplating making battlemap art streams for a while now but I convinced myself that nobody would be interested in those types of streams.

I run my two group campaigns weekly so I fix map materials and maps relatively often.
