I truthfully don’t read them, at least not for years now.
Most Ben 10 fanfictions I found are either crossovers, shipping wars, OC focused, OC X Canon Character, and so on.
They’re other people’s cup of tea, just not mine, which is perfectly fine. I remember seeing some nice ones back in the day, but I can’t fully remember them.

Ben 10 OV oneshot idea?
hmmm…very random thought, but i want to do something regarding a very overpowered reader. you don’t know this about me but i actually love OP characters. it makes the story feel indulgent and effortless for the reader, especially when they’re written and used wisely and excitingly.
unsurprisingly, i already do have a complete and polished idea, and no, it’s not an x reader (no romance). i just don’t have any place to “officially” place it.
so i was wondering, would it be cool to write a side-project? just a very small series of nothing in particular…hell, an obnoxiously long one-shot with no particular goal introducing this idea and giving out a basic plot. i can leave the rest up for imagination/interpretation. i think that would be very fun.
i’ll let you decide how interesting this sounds based on this half-baked summary: the reader is an OP as hell, rogue half-anodite combatant, trying to survive being captured and used in what is essentially a galactic organ trade, because quite literally every limb in their body is a source of the sought-after infinite matter.

I’ve had this headcanon for so long , I cant believe I’ve never shared it.
So firstly, I don’t why I’ve never seen anyone talk about this, but Kevin’s half British.
Like Devin was British. ( ignoring the omniverse retcon mess about his dad )
So Kevin’s half British too. My minor headcanon is that Kevin’s mom is French. I know she sounds American in the show, but I wanna believe she is half French atleast.
Plus “kevin ” used to be a hugely popular name in France in the 90’s , when Kevin was born, so it adds to my headcanon.
Anyway my main headcanon is that Kevin speaks French, rather well too.
He finds Gwen struggling a bit trying to finish her French homework one time and helps her. Gwens surprised at first that Kevin didnt tell her earlier, but he defends himself saying no one ever asked him about it.
He offers to tutor her and she agrees. Not that she really really needs it , but because practice is always good ,plus she liked the idea of spending time with Kevin outside of fighting bad guys and Mr Smoothie trips with Ben.
And yeaahh that did not go well. Let’s just say there was a lot less French tutoring and a lot more French kissing.
Gwen eventually had to fire him as her tutor so she could get back to finishing her school work.
[Ps Ben found out and the British /French tea n crumpet jokes never ended.
Kevin : aww man the car’s wrecked again
Ben : well we can always fly on your umbrella like Mary Poppins

I can imagine they’d get along haha. By then Boston would be an older dog, so I can see him being the one who does a lot of dog teachings with Zed, like barking at her when she bites someone a little too hard or tries stealing food. Despite the fact she could probably take Boston in a fight, their instincts make her respect him.

Bold take; People really didn’t grasp that Manny being Kevin’s mirror was to show that Kevin indeed IS a fucking insensitive jerk at times, and that without Ben he and Gwen wouldn’t have lasted long enough for him to get the character development necessary to cease being that much of a dropkick, and it shows.
And yet still, even he forgets his lessons. ( He was fucking engaged from beginning of AF to OV and never told Gwen once, apparently. Niiiice, Kevin. )
