Scott Robertson Returns with Barbarians — Big Summer Moments on 씨유티비 🏉🌍

씨유티비 -Scott Robertson Returns with Barbarians ALT

Scott Robertson is back in the coaching spotlight. After his time with the New Zealand national rugby union team came to an end earlier this year, the respected rugby figure is set to lead the famous Barbarians F.C. in two exciting summer fixtures. The news has quickly gained attention across 씨유티비, where fans are already looking ahead to June.

Robertson’s return feels timely, energetic, and full of possibility.

A High-Profile Summer Awaits 🌞🏟️

The Barbarians will face the reigning world champions, the South Africa national rugby union team, in Port Elizabeth on 20 June. They then travel to Twickenham’s Allianz Stadium to meet Wales national rugby union team on 27 June.

These fixtures promise skill, intensity, and global attention. For supporters following updates on 씨유티비, the matchups offer a perfect blend of tradition and modern rugby excitement. The Barbarians are known for bringing players together from different nations, creating a unique atmosphere that celebrates the sport’s shared values.

A Coach with a Winning Track Record 🏆✨

Before his All Blacks chapter, Robertson built a powerful legacy with the Crusaders, guiding them to seven consecutive Super Rugby titles between 2017 and 2023. That run highlighted his ability to create consistent performance and strong team culture.

His coaching style combines structure, freedom, and confidence-building leadership—qualities that fit perfectly with the Barbarians’ identity. This will also be his fifth time leading the invitational side, proving that his connection with the team runs deep.

Across 씨유티비 discussions, many fans highlight how Robertson brings out the best in experienced internationals while giving younger players room to express themselves.

Looking Ahead: What’s Next? 🌍🔮

Although this Barbarians role is short-term, Robertson’s long-term future continues to spark conversation. A non-compete clause prevents him from coaching a top-tier Test rival until early 2027, though there has been speculation about potential flexibility depending on scheduling.

In 2022, Robertson shared his ambition to win the Rugby World Cup with New Zealand and another country. That goal remains one of the most talked-about topics among rugby followers, especially within 씨유티비 communities where every update fuels fresh debate.

There have also been links to English Premiership side Harlequins, who are exploring leadership options. Whether he returns to club rugby or waits for another international opportunity, his next move will attract global interest.

Strong Support in the Coaching Team 🤝🌟

Robertson will work alongside Felipe Contepomi, Argentina’s head coach, adding further experience and perspective to the Barbarians set-up. Their combined rugby knowledge promises an exciting blend of ideas and strategy.

For viewers tuning in via 씨유티비, these matches are more than fixtures on a calendar. They represent renewal, creativity, and international unity—all guided by a coach ready to embrace his next chapter.

Excitement is building as June approaches.

Keep watching on CUTV and stay tuned 🏉📺🔥

England’s Super-Subs and Breathwork Could Shake the All Blacks — QuickTV Sports Replay Shows How

QuickTV sports replay
ALT

England are preparing for one of their toughest tests yet: taking on the New Zealand All Blacks. But this isn’t just another match for the Red Roses — it’s a battle of strategy, stamina, and mental edge. Head coach Steve Borthwick is relying on a combination of high-impact super-subs and breathwork training to keep England one step ahead. For fans who want to see how it all comes together, the QuickTV sports replay is the perfect way to catch every substitution, energy swing, and tactical adjustment.

Super-subs: changing the game when it matters

Borthwick has stocked his bench with players ready to hit the field at maximum intensity. Many of these replacements were part of the British & Irish Lions tour this year, bringing experience and fresh legs to late-game moments. The goal is simple: disrupt the All Blacks’ rhythm and inject new energy precisely when New Zealand looks strongest. Watching the QuickTV sports replay highlights just how powerful these substitutions can be, turning the tide of a match in minutes.

Breathwork: the hidden weapon

England’s preparation goes beyond the obvious. Breathwork has become a cornerstone of their training, helping players recover faster between phases, stay calm under pressure, and maintain sharpness in high-intensity moments. In a match that often comes down to the final 20 minutes, controlled breathing can be the difference between making a crucial tackle or missing a key opportunity. Fans will notice these subtle advantages unfold on the QuickTV sports replay, showing who stays composed and who begins to tire.

Tactical focus against the All Blacks

The All Blacks excel at quick counter-attacks, territorial kicking, and exploiting any lapse in concentration. England’s approach is to stay fresh, stay disciplined, and strategically deploy their bench to counter New Zealand’s pace. By combining energy management, breathwork, and well-timed substitutions, England hope to disrupt the All Blacks’ flow and create opportunities of their own. The QuickTV sports replay lets viewers see how these tactical adjustments translate into real moments on the field.

High stakes, small margins

England haven’t beaten the All Blacks since the 2019 World Cup semi-final, and history hangs over this fixture. Every substitution, every energy surge, and every controlled breath counts. The QuickTV sports replay is an essential tool for fans and analysts to see how these strategies play out in real time. This match isn’t just about the scoreboard — it’s about the hidden layers, the mental game, and the precision behind every decision that could finally allow England to topple the mighty All Blacks.

All Blacks Edge Scotland in Thrilling Murrayfield Clash: New Zealand Holds Firm Under Pressure 🏉🔥

QuickTV — All Blacks shatter Scotland’s hopes of historic win
ALT

New Zealand kept their unbeaten streak intact against Scotland, surviving a spirited second-half fightback to win 25-17 at Murrayfield. Despite being down to 14 men at three separate points, the All Blacks held their ground with crucial tries from Damian McKenzie and Will Jordan. Fans who tuned in via Seamless Streaming were treated to a nail-biting contest that nearly saw Scotland break their long-standing winless streak against New Zealand.

A Strong Start: All Blacks Control the First Half ⚡🏉

From the very first whistle, New Zealand showed their class and composure. Cameron Roigard opened the scoring early, capitalizing on a powerful break from Josh Lord. The All Blacks quickly gained the upper hand, adding a second try from Will Jordan right before halftime. At 17-0 up, they seemed in total control.

However, things weren’t entirely smooth for the visitors. Leroy Carter’s yellow card for a cynical trip meant New Zealand would play with 14 men for a portion of the first half. Despite this, they continued to dominate, with Beauden Barrett adding a penalty to extend their lead. For fans watching the action unfold through Express Stream, it seemed like Scotland would need a near-perfect performance to mount any kind of challenge.

QuickTVALT

Scotland’s Brave Second-Half Surge 💥🥊

Scotland came out after the break with renewed energy, determined to make a game of it. Ewan Ashman powered over the line after a strong maul, and with New Zealand reduced to 14 men again—this time with Ardie Savea in the sin bin—the hosts seized the moment. Kyle Steyn followed with a try, and suddenly the crowd at Murrayfield was buzzing with excitement, as Scotland had reduced the gap to just three points.

With the All Blacks down to 14 men for a third time after Wallace Sititi’s yellow card, Scotland had multiple opportunities to take the lead. They were pushing hard, with Ben White and Pierre Schoeman coming agonizingly close to scoring. The match was on a knife’s edge, and Seamless Streaming allowed fans to watch the drama unfold in real-time as Scotland surged forward.

McKenzie’s Heroic Performance: The Turning Point ✨💪

It was Damian McKenzie who stepped up to make the difference. The full-back’s electrifying presence changed the course of the game after coming off the bench. McKenzie’s try, where he evaded multiple tacklers to spin his way over the line, was the moment that effectively sealed the game for New Zealand. Although his conversion attempt was wide, McKenzie’s confidence under pressure shone through once again when he slotted a long-range penalty to give the All Blacks a comfortable lead in the dying moments.

QuickTVALT

Scotland’s relentless pressure was impressive, but New Zealand’s superior experience and skill in the dying minutes ensured the All Blacks walked away with the win. For those watching via Express Stream, McKenzie’s game-changing play was the final highlight in a fast-paced, emotional encounter.

Scotland’s Brave Effort: A Match to Remember 💪🇸🇮

While Scotland’s efforts were valiant, the All Blacks’ ability to keep their cool under pressure was the deciding factor. This defeat extends Scotland’s long wait for a victory over New Zealand, with their best result against the All Blacks still just two draws in 33 meetings.

Despite the loss, Scotland showed immense heart and determination, especially in the second half. Their fightback was nothing short of inspiring, and New Zealand’s ability to respond when under pressure is a testament to their strength as a team. For fans who missed the live action, Seamless Streaming provides the perfect chance to rewatch every exciting moment, from Scotland’s near-comeback to McKenzie’s last-minute heroics.

The game was a spectacular showcase of rugby at its finest, with both teams leaving everything on the field. The All Blacks will be pleased with their resilience, but Scotland can take pride in how they pushed the world’s best right to the edge.

TWITL - week 29 - San Diego and the All Blacks

TWITL - week 29 - San Diego and the All Blacks

My last four day work week ended with a weekend in San Diego! Let’s talk about us finally seeing the All Blacks live in San Diego!
FRIDAY - 19 JULY
We headed out to OAK on Friday morning, parking in the daily lot, far from the Southwest terminal. It had been awhile for me flying out of Oakland on Southwest. The security line was super easy since we have TSA pre-check. We were in group C and ended up in the last row of the plane. I sat in the middle. We only had carry-ons, which made the whole thing rather smooth.
https://flic.kr/p/2q592GC
in our seats at the back of the plane
We were VERY LUCKY that the software outage that affected many things on Friday didn’t affect Southwest. Our only slight delay was at take off because San Diego wanted us to arrive a bit late because of the influx of flights finally coming in and taking off. Our flight was about an hour and a half, which wasn’t long at all (compare to our flights to and from Ireland).
We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot. It was a nice room with great a/c. The a/c was much appreciated because San Diego was nice but rather humid. Still, better than home and the triple digits. The cool breezes in San Diego were so very lovely.
After eating lunch and having a bit of rest, we ordered an Uber to Snapdragon Stadium. There were plenty of people already there and the line to the merch trailer was long. When we go into the stadium, the merch booth line was also long. I was wearing my All Blacks jersey and cap, so I didn’t really need any new merchandise. By the end of the match, there was very little to be bought.

Snapdragon Stadium
We had great seats! Club level is the way to go. The seats were comfortable and roomy. We had a great view of the pitch. It was so cool being around fellow rugby fans. The All Blacks were playing against Fiji and each team was well represented. I think I saw more All Blacks fans but the Fijian fans were super enthusiastic. It was a great atmosphere, lively and respectful, even though when some Springboks fans were shown, they were roundly booed good-naturedly. They took the booing in stride, which elicited some laughter. (They won the last Rugby World Cup, so there you go.)
https://flic.kr/p/2q5b5W6
The All Blacks & the Flying Fijians
I don’t think I really worried too much about which team would win the match. It was just fantastic watching the All Blacks in person. Fiji did not give way at all, putting in some great hits. The All Blacks were quick and took the hits well. They were probably very bruised by the end of it.
https://flic.kr/p/2q59Utc
Damien McKenzie about to convert the try
It was great seeing some players I know from watching Super Rugby in the past, as well as several players making their debut on the national team. The Barrett brothers, Damien McKenzie, Ardie Savea– names I actually know! It was so amazing to be able to see them on the pitch live! I loved being there so much, amongst fellow rugby fans, cheering for the tries and gasping at the hits.
https://flic.kr/p/2q5bZtM
Cortez Ratima scores a try!
https://flic.kr/p/2q558T4
We stayed after the game to watch the presentation of the cup and then the team group photo. Some of the players walked the pitch to acknowledge the crowd. There were 33,217 in attendance, which was cool! Even though we had stayed after, there was still a mess getting out of the stadium. We were lucky enough to get an Uber and got back to the hotel in decent time. After such a full day, it was lovely to step into our well a/c’d room.

SATURDAY - 20 JULY
https://flic.kr/p/2q5q994
Gaslamp Lumpia Factory
Saturday morning, we headed to the Gaslamp Quarter for breakfast at Gaslamp Lumpia Factory. I actually had Filipino breakfast for breakfast! And of course, had some lumpia too. Too bad I saw the sign for shanghai lumpia after we ordered the regular lumpia. I enjoyed my food very much.

After breakfast, we walked around and found the Irish bar, The Field Authentic Irish Pub and Restaurant, which was wonderfully cool. I had a Guinness and realized that this was the first Guinness I had since our trip to Ireland. Awwww! I was trying to figure out if it tasted different but it was poured correctly so at least there was that. It was nice being in there and remembering Dublin and the pubs we visited out there. It made me miss Ireland!
https://flic.kr/p/2q5uv96

We walked down the street afterwards to check out the different booths. I stopped at a couple of places but managed to NOT buy anything. Miracles! I could have bought a ring or a pendant but I resisted. Good for me? Our last stop was Ghiradelli, where we both had a shake. I think we just wanted somewhere to sit and cool off for a bit.
https://flic.kr/p/2q5pPrQ
Yummy!
We caught an Uber back to the Liberty Station area, stopping in at Stone Brewing. We had drinks and then I bought a t-shirt at the shop. I couldn’t resist a keepsake from the brewery. ;) We walked back to the hotel from Stone, enjoying the walk along the water and seeing some squirrels along the way. When we got back to the hotel, we stopped in at the bar for another drink and some happy hour food.

SUNDAY - 21 JULY
Our flight back to Oakland left at 7:10 AM, which meant leaving the hotel at 5 AM. So early! But we weren’t the only ones with the same idea. Our flight was FULL. We were in the A group this time, so we were about to pick our row and thankfully our seat mate was little and went to sleep right after take off. When we landed in Oakland, it was cloudy and cool. But by the time we got home, it was already warm. Ahhh, back home.
https://flic.kr/p/2q5wyTk

https://flic.kr/p/2q5vJ37
All in all, it was a fantastic weekend! What a way to spend my last three day weekend until Labor Day. Seeing the All Blacks in person was worth flying out for sure. And San Diego in general was a lot of fun. I wish I had been better prepared for the humidity though. :D

This Is Bit Of A Kick In The Teeth : Ian Smith Slams SA Sending Weak Test Team To NZ

This Is Bit Of A Kick In The Teeth : Ian Smith Slams SA Sending Weak Test Team To NZ

Former New Zealand: Former New Zealand cricketer Ian Smith has slammed Cricket South Africa (CSA) for naming a weak Test team for the upcoming two-match tour of New Zealand in February, saying it is a ‘bit of a kick in the teeth’ moment.

South Africa recently named a 14-man squad for the New Zealand Test tour, to be captained by opener Neil Brand, who is amongst the seven uncapped players in the team. Capped Test players in the squad will be batters David Bedingham, Zubayr Hamza and Keegan Petersen, currently playing in the series against India.

Other capped players on tour of New Zealand include batter Khaya Zondo, fast-bowling pair of Duanne Olivier and Dane Paterson, and spinner Dane Piedt. Cricket South Africa (CSA) has chosen to field a weakened Test squad due to the series clashing with the second season of SA20 league at home.

“We (New Zealand) have such a proud record in sport in South Africa. Mainly through the rugby, All Blacks (and) Springboks is one of the great rivals. We’ve always got great respect for South African sporting people. So, this is a bit of a kick in the teeth, to be perfectly honest, for us anyway at this time,” said Smith on SEN Radio.

Frontline Test players like Temba Bavuma, Aiden Markram, Ryan Rickelton, Heinrich Klaasen, Rassie van der Dussen, Wiaan Mulder, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, Marco Jansen, Anrich Nortje, Gerald Coetzee, Keshav Maharaj, Tony de Zorzi, Nandre Burger and Simon Harmer will play in the SA20, as they are obliged to play in the league at home instead of being on national duties.

Amidst heavy criticism over the move, CSA Board said it is a one-off instance for the Test team being depleted on tour of New Zealand due to the scheduling conflicts between the series and second edition of SA20.

“The Board of Cricket South Africa (CSA) notes the concerns about the composition of the Test squad that will be travelling to New Zealand later this month. We reassure the fans that CSA has the utmost respect for the Test format as the pinnacle of the game we love.

“The dates for this tour were set when the Future Tours Programme (FTP) for 2023-2027 was finalised in 2022. The window for the SA20 had not been determined at that stage. Once it became apparent that there would be a clash, we made every effort to find another mutually suitable time-slot for this 2 Test series in consultation with New Zealand Cricket.”

"Regrettably the constraints imposed by the global cricket calendar rendered this impossible, as the games must be played before April 2025 as part of the World Test Championship.

"We commend Head Coach, Shukri Conrad and his staff for preparing the selected players for this tour, and we are confident that they will represent the Proteas badge with honour. We wish them all the very best. It is an opportunity to demonstrate the depth of talent that we have in South Africa.

"Our schedule for the remainder of the FTP has been managed to ensure that there will not be any further clashes between our bilateral commitments and the SA20. CSA remains fully committed to international cricket and to strengthening the SA20, a tournament that was initiated by us to help grow and sustain the game.”

TWITL - week 42 - back to the grind

TWITL - week 42 - back to the grind

I almost called this entry “earthquake weather” because we had a 4.2 magnitude earthquake on Wednesday and it was a JOLTER. According to the USGS page for this one, the quake’s epicenter was 5 km SW of Isleton. We felt it here in Brentwood because we’re pretty close. Chatting with my cousins, they didn’t feel it. I definitely felt it. My work station moved. Maybe the whole building moved. It was short but WILD. I think my nerves were a little frayed afterwards but it really wasn’t that bad.

https://flic.kr/p/2pa9Ajx

the alert that came right after the earthquake ended…

The emergency alert sounded on my phones right after the earthquake ended. If the earthquake had been longer, then the alert would have probably happened during rather than after. For me, it was like, “Yeah, no kidding,” but I’m sure the rest of the Bay Area was like, “What? I don’t feel anything.” :P

farmers market yummy - corn in a cup

We checked out the farmers market yesterday and it was cool enough (in the shady breeze) to wear a sweatshirt (albeit with shorts). So lovely! I was able to get my corn in a cup and we sat in the patio of our favorite bar and people watched. I love our moments at farmers market because it seems like such an ordinary kind of moment yet it’s perfect in its simple contentment.

https://flic.kr/p/2paQRQV

After our time downtown, we headed to Tailgaters for lunch. The bar was a bit quiet with college football playing on all the tv screens. A few people came in while we were there. I had yummy fish and chips with my Angry Orchard cider.

https://flic.kr/p/2paQSgz

TV

Silo - We binged watched this show and it was good! Super interesting and very well done. I’m glad to see that there will be a second season because I want to know more! I might want to read the books. We’ll see.

Loki - Another good episode, finally bringing us to the end credit scene from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. I’m enjoying the second season episodes so far and I’m always ready to watch the next one.

https://flic.kr/p/2paTgu3

RUGBY WORLD CUP - The All Blacks will be facing the Springboks in the Rugby World Cup final next Saturday!!! I was obviously cheering for the All Blacks in their match against Argentina (even though I had cheered for Los Pumas last week in their match against Wales). So happy the All Blacks won! And then it was South Africa against England and I was of course cheering for the reigning world champs. But now that it’s New Zealand vs South Africa, my alliance goes to the All Blacks. I’m excited! It’s like a super sized Rugby Championship! (IYKYK)

WRITING

I don’t know how ready I am for National Novel Writing Month. I really need to figure out what my female character does for a living! I know she works in an office and maybe I’m floating the idea of her being a copy editor or something? I’m still not sure and it’s stressing me out a little bit. And now I just thought, maybe I should totally switch what they do and make HER the photographer and him the one who works in the office. Why do I do this to myself?! :P

I should probably sit down after I post this and get my characters situated in their work lives even though their work lives are secondary to the story. It’s a romance, after all. Yes, a romance. They’re easiest for me to write and get to that 50k words goal.

https://flic.kr/p/2paQRJ7

Sometimes I wish I didn’t have this need to self-censor myself in regards to things that might be going on around me. I worry too much that someone might read what I post (do people even read this) and they might realize I’m talking about them, even if I don’t mention them by name. Yet if I’m compelled to share with my friends IRL, then why don’t I write about it to this place, which should be my safe space? The consequences aren’t worth the risk. Also, I’m not clever enough to take away the specifics and make it vague and general. Ah well, better this way, I suppose.

Random thoughts:

- Don’t be a creeper. Just DON’T.

- Our union ratified the latest contract. Good for us!

- I dreamt about taking photos of a backyard and Jack Whitehall was there. Why Jack?

- I told my favorite tech YouTuber (via a comment to a Threads post) that the husband calls me “Captain 2 Phones” and he replied that it’s a proud nickname to wear it well. Will do OG Captain2Phones!

- I need to stop shopping, even just window shopping.
